Einstein–Rosen bridge (or just Wormholes)

In short:

It would be a rare usable anomaly, where it would generate anywhere in the galaxy. It would lead anywhere: from one end of the galaxy to another, to just to the system next to you. I got suggestions, that it should be a one way shortcut, but I don't think it would be a good idea.

To use wormhole, the special device (Casimir Device perhaps) should be needed to get stabilized and enlarged enough to pass through (or sucked in).

What's your opinion on this?

If the wormhole were to collapse, it would take whatever is inside of said wormhole down with it. This would lead to lots of anger and an expensive rebuy.

Yes please. I've suggested it as an exploration mechanic for a while.

Not a silly fast travel mechanic, but something to look out for in deep space.

I wouldn't bother with a module for them though. They'd ideally be too rare to bother with otherwise.

You find an utra rare Anomaly USS, drop in, target the wormhole thingie, scan it for credits (yay!).
It'll give you a rough distance in lightyears it might extend, but you won't know what direction, and you can opt to jump it, in which case you can scan the exit point before it collapses, for even more credits.
One way trip!

Or you can just take half the data and not jump it.

As long as the destination is random and they dissapear after traversing them then I'm on it.

It'd be useless for transportation, just for the curious.
