I just crashed into the backyard of Slipher Vision (Kadrusa) when exiting SC at about 961 km.
The distance which was shown when I arrived/impacted was about 12.1km.

Is crashing (or nearly doing so) into the back end of a station when exiting supercruise a problem only with 1.07? Because I had a close call the other day (after not having played for a couple of weeks). I don't remember it happening in earlier builds, either beta, gamma or post-release.
 
I accepted a mission to deliver narcotics to HIP 20968. After purchasing the cargo, upon returning to HIP 20968 I am unable to give the cargo to the buyer. The "Deliver Cargo" option is red. There is no black market at the station and I took a hit to reputation because of this. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this bug?
This makes me very reluctant to accept missions now, as the bug is part of core game play.
I have opened TICKET #00000036096 concerning this issue, but I have yet to hear from FD support.

A strange small planet that can't be scanned and identified at NZAMNET D.
It didn't affect my supercruise. I could fly pretty close around it .

I can only play for about 3 minutes and application crashes to desktop just for entering the station (after docking granted) but it also crashes doing nothing and or just flying around for no reason. I must have tried landing 10+ times and I am still out there. My mission timer has long since expired and I am sure I am gonna get a fine (unfairly) since I cannot deliver my mission cargo due to crashing of the application. The game is practically unplayable for me. Was much more stable in version 1.04 and before the new launcher.

Same thing for me, since update 1.07 the game is practically unplayable for me. Drops me to desktop after a at most 10 minutes. The gane was very stable for me before that update... Anyone else having this issue?

Stuttering while supercruising near planets. Newest drivers, tried all quality modes, my specs are on my signature. This is especially hard to deal with when you're interdicted and try to reach the 'escape vector'.

I can only text chat with Commanders on my same instance. I can't text chat with anyone on my friends' list.

On both tickets I enclosed the SystemSpec & DxDiag info generated by the launcher.


I have just registered here & saw this post, it is good to know I am not the only one suffering with sound crackling & graphic stuttering & freezes. I have today sent in a ticket regarding this, my 1st ticket for anything since my pre-order.
I have a good spec machine which I built November 2014, updated all drivers & I disabled my onboard soundcard. Fitted a Soundblaster Z series to try to improve the crackling but still I have poor gameplay. This is a game breaker for me but i am sticking with it in the hope I can get this sorted.

ED is stunning & I am back to gaming purely because of this game, I was one of the guys that played the original game in 1984/5 & beyond.

I hope I can get this fixed! I keep thinking it's a driver issue but heck I have no idea.
 
AGAIN - Blow up entering a space station - no I did not forget the docking request - nothing in the way and BOOM

Lost a total of 3m - 3M !!!!! AGAIN (YES AGAIN) for a stupid bug and we are supposed to consider this is a RELEASE and compete with getting to Elite ......ITS A BETA STILL ! The release is still full of bugs - a lot of which were raised during Alpha testing.

You sometimes have to ram yourself into a platform docking point before you area allowed in.

Have been there almost from the beginning of ALPHA, and after Ticketing, raising, and seeing BUG after BUG still there - and the tickets are dutifully closed..... they say its fixed testing after each correction is clearly robust - as the same bugs are there after each release.

SERIOUSLY FED UP WITH THE BUGS THAT JUST REMOVE HOURS OF PLAY AND ACHIEVEMENTS - AND THE RESPONSE IS - OH HAVE YOU TICKETTED IT ?

REMOVE THE NPCS NEAR SPACE PORTS - even the bugged ones that are part of the wall ! MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DIE IN A SPACE PORT ENTRANCE IF YOU ARE NOT WANTED. This is supposed to be ELITE - this version involves dying over and over at random WITH CARGO and THIS 'released' version of the GAME is something that is currently woefully crap and depressing. This is NOT a release standard !!
 
I had a weird one today. I had docking permission, got inside the station, was lined up over the landing pad and descending, and the station just opened up and killed me. I didn't notice anyone else firing at me to trigger my point defense, which was also disabled upon entering the station because of people who do that. The station just decided to blow me up for no reason. I lost a couple million plus a million worth of cargo.
 
Request launch, floor drops away and does it's thing but my ship remains exactly where it is. Once floor is back can take off as normal but facing the wrong way. This happened to me 3 times today?
 
2 missions in 2 days looking for Pirates in Alrai Sector (Anarchy) doesnt work as no one in Anarchy is wanted even on the rare occasion I found a USS (2 in 2 hours cant be right) the pilots were clean, I KWS them and they had bounty I killed them but didnt count towards Pirate...so I guess bugged! You cant have a pirate hunt in an Anarchy.

Another bug, I spent 250K on a detailed surface scanner, it doesnt work! It doesnt appear in the fire control binding screen and it doesnt work regardless, i mean it does nothing, I went into Unknown system and nothing happened, I swapped it out for Basic scanner and as soon as I entered system it discovered the new system!

Detailed surface scanner works in addition to basic/intermediate or advanced discovery scanner. It adds additional detail when you scan a body which you've already "discovered" using one of the other scanners, so it doesn't need a firegroup.

My understanding with the pirates is that them being wanted is not the issue - it's more related to their loadout. If you look at their subsystems and they have a cargo scanner then chances are they are a pirate . . . they sometimes have piratey sort of names too :) --- sometimes they scan you and say things like "What are you carrying?"

I was confused by this as well at first but once i read it on here it did seem to match my experience. . .

And their ships have colorful/gaudy livery, best way to recognize them is by sight.
 
Not sure if it is a bug but I'll leave it here anyway:

When approaching a station/outpost in SC and a celestial body happens to be in the ship's way, the ship's computer decelerates it to an appropriate speed and re-accelerates when said object reaches a certain distance.
The problem is that the computer doesn't take the new (smaller) distance to the target-station into account and just accelerates until the ship reaches the velocity it had before deceleration started. Due to that my ship often overshoots the station.

Also I'd like to get rid of that phantom deceleration that happens when cruising at high speeds long after I passed a near planet/moon/ship.
Example:
Let's say I'd cruise at about 250c and there is a planet anywhere on that route.
When the navcom starts to lower the speed I usually have passed it already and reached a distance of about 100Ls to 300Ls. Surely no need to throttle down anymore but it does it anyway.

Last but not least: Throttling down because a ship/USS is somewhere within a few (or hundreds) Ls? How can that even be a thing?
 
OK, this is a new one AFAIK (and I'm 100% sure it happened because I was in the process of writing this when it just happened again).

I'd refuelled and then route planned a longish trip using "fastest routes". I was then just sitting there, still docked, doing nothing (I was actually using another PC to write this). Suddenly I get a Connection Lost error (no problem with that, it happens). However, when I manage to get back in half my fuel has gone! It's basically consumed the fuel necessary for the route I had planned, 10K down the pan. I'll ticket it but I thought I'd better warn people.
 
game crashed while jumping to a new system, (exploring near the center of the galaxy). When I re-logged I was 20,000LY from the system I was jumping to. Right next to the core systems.

Took about a week to get there. :'(

Hi, one annoying bug I really hate is in the eagle and viper the cockpit HUD is blocked by a strange pixel image. its kinda weird but means I cant really engage too much in combat,
since I cant see the targeting cross-hairs, until I lean the ship downwards which then the cross-hairs are away from the target.

doesn't happen in the starter sidewinder I noticed, happens in the eagle and viper, the only ships I purchased so far.
I only like bounty hunting and re-fitting my ship from the credits in the game so far, so I would love to get this fixed to make combat more enjoyable.

I cant seem to link any screenshots, sorry.
 
Interdiction is now getting beyond a joke, i have won 3 times and submitted 3 times within 5 minutes in clear space, so no dodging into planets etc and every darn time there is now ship there. Whats the point of trying to play a pirate if you can't stop a ship.

If i thought it was worth putting in a ticket, but you have more chance of throwing a rock in deep space and hitting a ship than getting a reply???????

Something wrong with GalNet at this particular station... Maybe because I have better reputation/rank with Fed´s than Empire?

And is there some sort of "German-Day" 7th Feb worldwide? :)
