Not sure if this is a bug or new feature as I just played 1.1 for the first time, I've been on a conference with work the last few days.

Anyway, a regular anarchy system I nav beacon bounty hunt at has started issuing bounties but I've got nearly 100k worth between 2 minor factions that don't control either of the 2 stations in the system, how do I collect these?

Incidentally i liked the combat tweaks with the heat management with lasers, made combat more fun.
 
downloaded the new update, pulse lasers still bugged
not impressed frontier, this is why you fix the bugs in the beta

edit: so I managed to fix my bug, for some reason all my weapons had become -insert weapon-[loaned] (yes ALL of them)
after re-buying all my weapons they now appear to work fine again. still this little mess up will cost me nearly 100,000 Cr rebuying equipment

Sesuang - missing stations?

I was in the Lugh system and got a job to take some merchandise to the Carter Hub in the Sesuang system. No problem - I'd actually been to that station as well as the Sellers Terminal last week or so. Imagine my surprise when I exit from the jump and can only find Drummond Enterprise and Stillman Terminal in the list for the system. I double-checked the Galaxy/System Map and, sure enough, those are now the only two stations listed. I even went back and checked Thrudds and it still shows Carter Hub and Sellers Terminal in the dropdowns for the Sesuang system. I took a chance and went to the Drummond Enterprise station and it let me fulfill the transaction there. Is this a bug?
 
Gimballed beam laser starts firing when outfitting

Don't know if it's a new since 1.1 but when I go to the outfitting screen the gimballed laser in my Cobra starts firing. It's set to Target Only and hardpoints are retracted. Leaving the outfitting screen stopped the firing but I did get fined.

Been happening for me since 1.07 - if the station thinks you are hostile (i.e. it is red in your HUD), the only solution that I've found is to turn off your lasers in the righthand screen - I lost a ship and over 500K the first time it happened...

Got my first (major?) bug today.

I just got clearance for landing my viper in Jett Ring Station (Aiabiko system) on pad 42. When I came through the gate I got a pad loitering warning. I started to turn my ship since I thought I might not have gotten clearance. When down to 22 seconds I got clearance again and a seconds later my viper just exploded. No damage taken, no audible warnings, it just blew up.

Yes and no. Many station are renamed/changed by Frontier intentionally. The problem is that many missions use the old names ATM...

Ever since the middle of last week, my mouse has been acting strangeley, and over the last couple of days I have narrowed it down to ED.


I have a Razer Deathadder (left handed version), and at some point after hitting the Play button, the pointer automatically moves itself to the top of the screen. I can move it back down again, but its a constant fight to stop it moving back to the top of the screen.


I say "at some point" because Ive seen it happen immeadiately after hitting "Play" (in that pause before the client launches), 20 minutes into playing when Im in the middle of using the galaxy map, and sometimes i dont notice it in game, and it only becomes apparent once Ive quit.
 
1.1.02 I can't focus with the Xbox one controller in the Universal Chartographers detail panel. When i have a system with loads of planets i can't scroll down with the controller, i can select and scroll the window with the mouse. It seems a similar problem like the one with the galnet news feed. Only difference that it works with keyboard and mouse.

I've downloaded 1.1.02 just now and I'm still getting kicked to the desktop when I enter the Universal Cartographics section
I read a lot of people having this problem - I don't .Maybe it will help to tell my specs are 4930K - 32GB ram - GTX Titan -2x 512 SSDs - playing With Xbone controller. Upgraded today to the latest graphic drivers by nvidia. windows 8.1 pro 64

You have to return and sell your findings ... as far as i am aware. With 4 billion stars to explore there is nothing to worry everybody will be able to discover a star !
So I'm off in some distant corner of the galaxy with nay an outpost in sight... I am able to see where some have gone before me as now the first to discover shows up in the system map. However, when I go to an area with no name attached to it and do a surface scan (with a detailed surface scanner), I am not credited with being the first to discover and the planets/stars in the system map still show up as being undiscovered.

Am I missing something or is this not working as intended?

Oooh I am - I am only getting them on the outfitting as well. Had a shield bank on my Asp, so the power was kaput, could not upgrade the power plant.
I tried selling the asp and buying a Cobra (whats 900K when you are going to play for years), and could not upgrade that either.

I raised a ticket - just in case it is more sinister than having ot kick the (insert what servers do the outfitting) servers into life.

Same here! Temporary server problem maybe? Wonder if the 401 is an "http 401" or something else.
 
Docking with autodock is getting worse in stations since the 1.1 patch.

Nicer and softer landings on outposts although I do notice we still have the issue with it trying to land side on sometimes. However, it rarely hits the pad in the centre in stations and I have now twice had to override the AD because it tried to land way over to the left of the pad, right at the edge of the pads boundary. More often, it lands and bounces a few times to the left before settling. This has now happened twice with a Type 6 in Dalton Gateway and Worlidge Station in LHS 3447.

The current bugged status of the missions.

Please, help me summing it up. Feel free to add your bu reportings.


  1. Killing the BOUNTY HUNTERS missions: if you are assigned to such a mission in a system that has no nav beacon, you simply cannot complete the mission and you are forced to abandon it.
  2. "Abandon your attempt to kill pirate". Why these kind of proposals reset the count of pirates we killed? It's really annoying: I just got reset from 5/7 to 0/7.
  3. A lot of duplicate system permissions "missions", that are marked as unacceptable, still show up in the bullettin board.
  4. USS's appearance frequency seems to have been reduced. Now it's boring as hell to find them out. Sometimes I wait over 5 minutes to enter one.
  5. After a while, USS containing pirates just seem not to exist anymore and you find just canisters/debris and can't complete the mission.

Am I asking too much to have these basic things fixed, to have a fraction of what should be an enjoyable game?

Speaking of bugs (or is it?)...

How do you cash in a bounty reward from a faction that doesn't have a station? Thing is, I'm "stuck" with quite a large reward from a small faction in one specific system.
 
After new patch on Tuesday, i noticed that the power demand from my current and unchanged inventory of weapons/internals have changed. I went from being under the available power to being over by almost a full point deployed. Did they change the power needs of weapons/internals with the upgrade?
