V 1.1 is an improvement overall. I've seen few of the problems other report.

Except the sound. What have you done? I'm flying a Cobra III with the music muted. The sound is awful. To me, it sounds like a down-mix problem. I'm using a 2.1 set-up, and this sounds like the front speakers are missing, so I'm only getting the rear ones. Why do I say this? The engine sound is inaudible, except when I look at the side panels. Then they come from the back of the ship. I tried un-muting the music, and that plays as expected, but the effect are still missing.

The only other problems I get are really down to server lag. But since I tend to play at stupid o'clock in the morning, it doesn't happen too often. Sort of when the yanks start playing...

BTW: Svenno, when interdicted, they litterally drag you away from the point you were at. One of the items you can buy is an interdiction grapple. 15LS is a but far, bit I find I'm normally 5 or so LS from where I started.

Ah, makes sense. I never got interdicted this close to a station before, never really paid attention to where I ended up after. I just got a strange occasion of deja vu twice in a row, passing the same planet again. It's a dirty trick anyway, to yank me away while only 2 seconds out from an allied station. Useless allies!

i saw on the news that 1 system next to khahiri where the was some fighting goeing on,so i entered the competetition to get some combat bonds and get rewarded.
in this system there was a low activity combat zone there was a lot of fighting goeing on but at one point the enemy's(i was federation) would only spawn 1 at the time and maybe 1-2 per minte wich would ofcourse get wrecked by everybody at the same time this happened about 45 minutes ago and it lasted a good 20 minutes before i left.

the system was DB+03 2338

Hi,

tonight a friend of mine and I encountered a nasty bug : it seems there is a max number of scanned bodies (36) that can be sold in the cartographic data. We both scanned the same system and the same bodies, but in a different order, and i was offered 17000 CR for the system, but my friend only 9000 CR.

We checked the list of scanned bodies in the cartographic data screen, and it appears the bodies scanned are capped to 36 elements max.

Here is the cartographic data screen showing what i can earn (36 bodies including the belts)

cartographicdata.jpg

and here is the system map showing all the bodies discovered
totalbodies.jpg (Edit : I forgot to count Sun B and C, so it's 35 bodies, not 33)

You can see I'm missing planets C1 to C6, those are the planets i scanned at the end before checking the system value. My friend scanned the B sun and planets and the AB1 planet/moons last, so he was missing a lot of CR...

I opened a ticket ( #00000038710 ), but can someone confirm this ?

got this as well, though not every time... Seems a bit random for me

Try this: rightclick on speaker icon besides the clock on the taskbar and select playback devices > on the window you get, select the communication pane (probably the last one) and check the setting there.
if you do not want skype (or other voicecomm software) to affect whatever other sounds you have playing (such as SFX from games, music etc.) select the 'Do nothing' option.

Thanks Sniger - that looks like it could be the fix. Odd how it's only ED that has this issue and not my bazeeleeon other games. I guess the'll fix it in time. Cheers.

Universal Cartographics doesn't seem to be crediting first discoverer correctly in some cases - I'm selling info for systems that didn't previously have a tag where I've scanned the whole system and there will be weird omissions like all the planets round one sun and the sun itself, or in one case just a 7th planet round a sun and its moon. I only noticed it because it's happening in high value systems and I want my bonuseseseses! Once sold my commander name is being tagged onto the planets I was credited for, but there's still nothing on the ones I wasn't given credit on, so it doesn't appear as if someone else has scanned and sold them first.

Ticket raised with examples: # 38726

Edit: It doesn't seem to be recording where detailed scans have been made correctly. For example for one of the systems I've just sold there are 5 planets I've detail scanned, the values in the UC breakdown look about right for those kinds of planets with a detailed scan, but they aren't marked with "Detailed Surface Scan" and no discovery credit has been given despite no tags being on the system when I scanned it, or sold the info.

Very peculiar!

ASP-Explorer is flying like a pig since the last updates. Slow as hell picking up speed then appears to overspeed later and overshoot explorer targets while in same system. Trying to trade between two stations about 25km apart is a pain in the butt.

The civil war bug reported over a month ago, where fighting for one side would make them dislike you and the other side like you, is still active.

Luckily, community goals and missions don't care which bonds you turn in so long as you turn in bonds, so it cancels out.

Just make sure that whenever fighting in a civil war, fight for the side you don't want to like you.

I exprienced the same in my Cobra. It takes much more time to accelerate than before 1.1 update. And the decelerating has some issues too.
I reported it as a bug. ticket #00000038782

Last time i went to warzone i didnt lose any rep. It was 2 days ago.
Did you take a mission? coz mission will make you lose reputation to the other side.

However i like the idea to lose reputation if you take a side.
It shouldn't be considerated as a bug. It's a war!
Would be nice if that was a naval missions with nice rewards.

Hi All,

Experiencing an issue currently whereby I cannot sell or successfully jettison my cargo of albino mammoth meat TICKET #00000038622. When I try to jettison (it shows as gone from cargo hold) then save/exit, I then have problems logging back in (server unconnected) for several minutes! When I eventually return, the albino mammoth meat has boomeranged back into my cargo hold!!

Destroying Docking Computer = Destroyed Ship

00000038837

Not seen this listed here and I thought I'd mention it.

I heard recently that the Docking Computer subsystem is a) extremely brittle and b) causes destruction of your target when destroyed so I made a couple of clips to show how easy is is to kill targets with this module fitted:
