I decided to test again to see if npcs actually stop and scoop cargo but I didn't get that far.

I was just interdicted by an eagle. I pulled to a halt and started dropping cargo in batches of 4. I ended up dropping 48 tons of palladium before having to leave since the eagle didn't think it was enough. This is so broken.

This is probably not a bug and has more to do with Frontier's programmers expecting you to swat that Eagle like the fly it is.
 
When is the "interrupted bounty hunt" resetting the kill score -bug going to get fixed?

I had 6 kills out of 7 when my mission was interrupted by someone who wanted me to go after authority vessels instead.
This reset my kill count to zero, and I was just planning on going to bed because I have a workday tomorrow.
I've killed 3 more pirates (as in stopping me and demanding I release my cargo) but mission kill score doesn't update yet.

This blows more than my wife's hairdryer.
This sucks more than my vacum cleaner.
This is almost as bad as Windows 8.1 !!!1!!1!!

I had more to say but it's all blocked by the word filter.
 
Please fix (aka flip) the starting text description for "high metal content" and "metal rich planets".

A "metal rich planet" begins every text description with: "High metal content worlds like this ... "
A "high metal content planet" begins every text description with: "Metal-rich planet with a metallic core ... "
 
Dropped cargo "evaporating into space"

This maybe just a very minor bug, but could be related to npc pirates not accepting cargo dropped by players as "payment".

I met Cmdr. Stocko while doing a "get x amount of y goods"-type mission tonight. We started to chat, and since I have remaped "drop all" to a button close to "return" accidentally dropped all my cargo. I needed at least two or three units of that cargo so started to scoop it up again. After I had scooped up 28 units the rest "evaporetd into space" (i.e. showed no longer on my radar or contact list). However, the cargo I had'nt scooped up still showed on Stocko's radar, and he was also able to scoop it up. We both concluded that something strange was going on. He also dropped some cargo, but it appeared on both of our radars as supposed to do. I thought that dropped cargo would disappear normally after some time (since the canisters cant withstand radiation or whatever for a long time). Well, Im not so sure about this anymore. Could this phenomenon possibly be related to what Distance described above? Maybe the npc pirates just dont "see" cargo dropped by players just like I got the (false?) impression that dropped cargo "evaporates into space" after some time?
Both Stocko and myself took screenies so we have proof.

Asp in 1.1 update now suffers damage when interdicted

Hi,

Is anyone else suffering the unavoidable interdiction problem where your ship loses hull integrity, using the ASP I now lose 50,000 cr per event.

Interdiction is not random but an event spawned by first login/journey and no further ships attack the player afterwards during a session in allied friendly space.

The interdiction sequence strobes and pushes the evasion target off screen immediately and even with the player flying perfectly never allows the evasion bar to fill.

I will be putting a note on screen to force jump into realspace to clear out any hostile's spawning but I am not supposed to 'fix' a developer issue with double sided sticky tape.

Bounties collect issue

Am I the only one to have issue with bounties collect ? I get the blue message confirming that I have the bounty reward but it does not appear in the transaction panel.
 
This is probably not a bug and has more to do with Frontier's programmers expecting you to swat that Eagle like the fly it is.

It is part of an issue IMHO. People repeatedly getting interdicted by NPCs asking for cargo they don't even have (they're not carrying any)... over and over...

NPCs shouldn't generally attack you if you don't have any cargo. And generally if you dish cargo out, they should stop attacking you.

Else we end up where we are now with psychopathic NPCs constantly attacking/murdering people, which isn't good for the game IMHO!

ive had this for awhile now,,,, ive lost about 300k worth of bounties in the last week alone that have not shown up,,, its seriously annoying

This! Still my number one bug and has been since I ticketed it about a month ago.
 
If I set a long route (at shortest way-settings, always), when I get interdicted or drop out of SC for other reason, I dont then anymore see that "next on route" (yellow) sign next to a system name in my navigation panel.

I can still see my route in Galaxy Map though, follow it and then click it as a "route destination" again, then next system on route pops back to my navigation panel.

My friends commented on that issue to. Ticket! :)

In beta and Alpha the Npc scooped cargo. I havent noticed any scooping yet. Pirates often try to kill me if I have scooped cargo. But its a long time since I saw any NPC pick up cargo. They are supposed to pick it up. If not it has to be a bug. I remember in Alpha Npc were so after cargo they could "snap" it in front of your nose. It was competive and annoying at the same time. But made the universe more alive.

Add to that, it also works backwards, when I were "stopped by a star" (luckily happened inside solar flare-arc in regular flight, awesome sight), I plotted my course again (to same destination system), did not jump but entered first SC to avoid too much heat.

And then in SC I no longer had that next system on route marked in my Nav panel. But still lines in Galaxy Map.



PS. NeilF, will ticket if still in next patch, been around long time and bet already ticketed, dont wanna crash that system... Have just started annoying me more lately as interdictions are harder to avoid (sometimes I have tried to stay at centre of escape vector but my side of bar did not went up still, now I just submit and run/kill).

Temperature went to 200%, 300% and 400% in just few seconds, no way to escape that bug but pulling a blug.

Hope with these kind of systems we get to land at safe distance from all stars one jumps, not inside them :)

Yes, once I've arrive sandwiched between binary stars and statred cooking!

A couple of times when I've jumped into a system I've seen my view go through a second (nearby) star! Very very alarming!

I've encountered what I believe may be a bug with the ongoing exploration community goal in Lambda Andromedae.
I won't give details here, but please attract the devs' attention to ticket #00000041910 if you can. I'm not sure how available I'll be to help investigate, but I'll do my best.

I experienced that too. I had both a Kill-Warrant scanner and a Cargo Scanner installed. Whenever I assign the Cargo Scanner to a weapon group, the ship's computer shorts out and the Transaction and trading computer won't accept data from Comms and HUD.
Messages of bounty shows up on the Info-panel but does not register in Transactions.

I solved this by removing the Cargo Scanner from all weapon-groups.
