Well, more than 24 hours since the last support response on my emergency stuck ticket, and I am still quite stuck where I am unable to do much of anything in the game. :\
 
dunno if this has ever been brought up so i'll do it anyway.

If i open the commodities market and hit exit before it's loaded it will get stuck on the market screen. the game isn't frozen - everythings still moving around me, but i can't click on anything. The only way to fix it i've found has been to back out to main menu and reload.
 
I have a problem with selling exploration data.
I have scanned several systems for a grand total of 15K cr - by summing up all the values in the "universal cartographics" list before selling.

When I press "confirm" to sell, I think it only sells the 1st item but it makes all the other disappear from the list as well. And I only get the money for the first item. I checked my account, I only got 2k instead of 158k...

Exploration doesn't pay much, so getting robbed like this does not amuse me the least bit.
 
I experienced that too. I had both a Kill-Warrant scanner and a Cargo Scanner installed. Whenever I assign the Cargo Scanner to a weapon group, the ship's computer shorts out and the Transaction and trading computer won't accept data from Comms and HUD.
Messages of bounty shows up on the Info-panel but does not register in Transactions.

I solved this by removing the Cargo Scanner from all weapon-groups.
So you don't use cargo scan anymore ?
 
CMDRs in Supercruise are not flying smoothly

Posted this on the support forum as well before seeing this thread. Just noticed a strange thing (bug?) in the latest 1.1 release when encountering Player CMDRs.

It's like the CMDR ship positions are not being updated quickly enough on the servers as their flight paths are very jerky rather than smooth. NPC ships are fine. The issue happens on the scanner as well... Definitely not a frame rate issue as everything else runs fine.

This only happens in Supercruise.

Will update my Nvidia Titan Black drivers to see if this helps... My internet connection is not an issue, but perhaps a server side issue when a certain amount of players are in-game?

Has anyone else here had similar problems recently?

Anyone else unable to progress through Empire naval missions?
I'm at Squire and each time I do a pirate hunt naval mission I just get a negative rep hit, and no promotion...

Anyone noticed the fuel scoop sound effect is playing when near a sun even if you are not equipped with a fuel scoop?

Anyone noticed the bug where you land on a station -> refuel -> buy/sell stuff and then if the game will suddenly disconnect -> after loading it again, the fuel is again on same leve as before being refueled however all cargo bought/sold is same.
 
Installing Elite on new PC: Error Message:

      I keep getting this error. I have un-installed and re-installed the launcher several times. It was interrupted the first time because the internet connection was lost. It seems to start where it left off even though I have deleted the launcher. ​​Any ideas or suggestions?
 
Top 5 Bounties havent been displaying for me for over a week. Apparently this bug isnt very common or there would be alot more comments on it, but I submitted a ticket as well.

I'm out exploring in my Asp, and whenever I find a system I like the look of, I'll scan the whole thing, including the asteroid belts even though there's no money for it.

When I select one, target it and aim my ship at it, the usual scanning sound will begin to play and resolves as the scan completes.
However, it loops and will begin playing AGAIN, endlessly, until I target something else or otherwise deselect the cluster.

If I'm not paying attention it can play for a couple of minutes playing the sound over and over again long after it has already identified it.
This will happen if the cluster is in front of the star or empty space, with or without other un/identified objects around.

Does not happen with planets or moons.

Already known. I've annoyed Frontier several times with this now, no response. Hopefully it's still worked on. Another funny error with scanning asteroids: They're all worth 0 credits. Your bonus for finding them first: 0 credits.

One I covered in a former report, but it's raised its ugly head again.

Docking computer, when active resets SYS - ENG - WEP pips to 2 - 2 - 2 like this on DC activation.

However, it also locks SYS - ENG - WEP so you cannot change them on the fly while docking. I hit boost by mistake and headed toward the wall of a station. Could not apply extra shields and lost the vessel and cargo. Yes, my error and insurance covered the hull, but if I had the ability to apply four pip shields I'm convinced I would have survived with heavy damage. WEP is not needed for docking so if you want to use a preset, have SYS (4) - ENG (2) - WEP (0) for the DC with the ability for people to override if they don't like it. As a sugg, you can turn off boost when the DC is active as a safeguard against what happened to me.

Bug two - This happens on occasion. On landing, I typically see this screen after touchdown:

However, in every one in thirty-five or forty landings, it defaults to this:

I hit space to go into starport services and instead the ship launches and I can't override it. Am forced to go back out and redock. Annoying, and if smuggling I don't have opportunity to offload my nefarious cargo. Would be nice to have this consistent.

On the up side, I'm really happy with the rest of the game and it looks/sounds fabulous. Cheers to the hard working devs and mods. Your efforts are appreciatted.

Really unhappytonight been having problems with station changing allegiances in mid dock or even docked, considering I am hostile from federation since the last up date ( no reason) And got a ticket still open, have avoided federation stations with my trade routes, but tonight got attacked at an Indi station that changed allegiance (another ticket still open ) mid dock and got blew up by cops.so will not be playing until it gets fixed, what a waist of £40

This will be fixed in 1.2 and the docking computer will put full pips to shields. Sarah the AI programmer mentioned it but I don't know the thread off hand.
 
Menu keeps scrolling

Hi, when i enter the game the yellow marker in my menu keeps scrolling down and i can only choose things with my mouse. It also happens in ingame menus like in commodity market, but not in docking menu(where you choose launch, enter hangar and services). If i enter galaxy map, my blue circle keep going backwads too, but i can navigate correctly in my navigation tab. It looks like my down arrow or 'D' got stuck, but only in the game.I tried to reinstall the game, restart the computer. Thanks if you can help.
 
Hello, when I was in game on a private group with one other friend of mine and we were super cruising toward our destination in the Kremain system, he was interdicted by an NPC we were approaching Kremain 2. I locked onto his FSD wake to help him defeat the pirate that interdicted him, but all that I could see was his ship and not the enemy pilot. I was able to watch his shields disappear and hull go to 0% and there was nothing I could do to help. This was only his second day playing and this sort of experience can really turn off a new player to the game. I thought it was really weird that I could see him and not the NPC that interdicted him. Additionally we went immediately after to a Resource Extraction site and were able to coordinate without issue. I don't know what the problem was.

This is really interesting, has anyone else seen this? Are npc's in these encounters really only visible to the player they interdict? Has anyone ever seen the opposite (i.e where they've followed another player who's been interdicted and where they have seen the npc)? Would someone from FD care to comment?
