Elite Dangerous Destructoid Review - 9/10

I just meant that it isn't real easy to jump into and requires some commitment.

It certainly does and that I think is part of the problem. I have enough things in my life that require commitment without a video game nagging me too. The game should come with a marriage license and a ring.

So basically this review only came out after the game was released on PS4 despite it already being out for many years on 2 other platforms?

A game does not need to be perfect to get a good score, fact is, no game, not even a 10/10 game is perfect, when so very much of judgements as well as judging flaws is subjective.

Elite keeps me playing, where other games did not, keeps me enjoying it when others did not, it keeps adding more to enjoy.

So yeah, not perfect, but so far, its among best of what is out there of games for me.

Definitely a 9/10 for me too.
I've now spent more time in Elite: Dangerous than in any other game, so from a cost versus game time perspective it's phenomenal value.
And it keeps getting better. It's not perfect, and there are some features I would love to see added, but as it is it's already fulfilled nearly all my Elite fantasies from 1985.
