It's wall of text. Another.

HarryPotter just admited that he in fact missed the pod

Better late than never, now the event has really started, and all player get a chance to decide Salome's fate, now she is safely out of the hands of the writer
Sure it wont be official lore, and even fan-fiction may cause some IP right issues... But in game, where she is part of the story, we can have our story and reject the galnet 'fake' feed
What happens is a majority of lore following players in the game decided she is alive, write their stories, based on the escape pod... Will Fdev just say...No, that not what happens! lolz
maybe she will change her name again... 'Salome the white'and more events run by players start to happen... oh the can of worms, i'm hungry!
Its your turn to shape the galaxy hehe
Now i'm having fun at last![]()
He said community did nothing to prevent her death, well we are definitely doing something now.
Is he not entertained![]()
Fake news.Seems to be a thing nowadays!
Cheers,
Drew.

I promise to report on any new evidence that I receive
Which evidence?!
Drew has now stated about 4 times that Salome is dead - he reiterated it yesterday on the Rift thread at least twice, and he said "no ambiguity - she is dead". .....
26 MAY 3301
At 15:00 hours universal galactic time on 26th May 3301, Secretary of State Felicia Winters assumed the role of Acting President of the Federation in the wake of the disappearance of Spaceflight One.
Speaking in an emergency broadcast to the nation, Acting President Winters had this to say:
“It is with deep regret and some trepidation that I must come before you today to announce that contact with the President’s ship, Spaceflight One, has been lost.”
“Two days ago, Navy Command received word that the President would be taking an unscheduled detour to Azaleach. Her reasons as to why remain classified.”
“12 hours ago, following entry into hyperspace, Spaceflight One went dark. All attempts by the President’s security team to trace the vessel have met with failure.”
“Squadrons have been scrambled in an attempt to find President Halsey and Vice President Naylor, and I have faith that the Navy will do everything they can to bring them home.”
“That said, in order to maintain a clear chain of command during this time of crisis, I will be assuming the role of Acting President of the Federation effective immediately. I hope I have your support, and I hope it will only have to be a temporary measure.”
26 FEB 3302
The recent Federal operation to search for survivors from Starship One was eagerly supported by the galactic community, resulting in the safe recovery of thousands of escape pods, many of them containing living survivors. As the task of identifying the pod's occupants continues, Federal President Zachary Hudson has made a surprising announcement: one of the escape pods taken to Leoniceno Orbital contains former Federal president Jasmina Halsey.
"When we started searching for the remains of Starship One it was with the aim of discovering what happened to the ship. I never imagined we would find survivors, and certainly not that one of them would be Jasmina Halsey."
Asked about Halsey's condition, Hudson said:
"The medical team at Leoniceno has described Halsey's condition as critical but stable. It appears her escape pod was damaged and she sustained some injuries, so she's being kept in an induced coma until her wounds have healed. This is likely to take weeks. If her condition changes I will be immediately notified."
25 NOV 3302
A prisoner convoy has been interdicted and destroyed in the Daibo system while en route to Koontz Asylum. Wreckage found in Daibo has been positively identified as belonging to the Imperial Cutter 'Diadem' and the Imperial Clippers 'Cypripedium', 'Velum', 'Monile' and 'Vestimenta'.
"Completely wiped out," said one pilot, who was one of the first to respond to the distress call. "By the time I arrived there was nothing but floating debris. We even found wreckage from escape pods. Someone wanted to make sure there were absolutely no survivors. Even the black boxes were blasted."
It has been confirmed that the convoy was carrying various political dissidents, convicted murderers and terrorists. Among them was the infamous Kahina Loren, recently found guilty of the attempted assassination of Admiral Denton Patreus.
"Maybe someone wanted to give her a merciful death," said the chief editor of The Imperial Citizen. "Better that than what awaited her at Koontz Asylum, for sure."
Plans to hold a memorial service for Loren in the Prism system have already generated angry responses. Princess Aisling Duval was quoted as saying, "A service for her? She was a murderer and a convicted felon! Her name should be struck from the record and never spoken again."
24 MAR 3303
Three of the five individuals responsible for the recent theft of meta-alloys from Darnielle's Progress have been positively identified, following analysis of starport security footage. Remarkably, one of the perpetrators has been acknowledged as Commander Salomé, also known as Kahina Tijani Loren.
Loren was sentenced to life imprisonment last year for the attempted murder of Admiral Denton Patreus, but when her convoy was destroyed en route to Koontz Asylum it was assumed she had been killed.
Responding to the news, Imperial authorities promptly placed a galaxy-wide bounty on Salomé to the tune of 500,000 credits.
Meanwhile, Princess Aisling Duval released a brief statement:
"Commander Salomé is a disgraced senator and a convicted murderer. She incites violence wherever she goes, and in the interest of public safety she must be stopped. I urge all those loyal to the Empire to deliver justice to this criminal."
Salomé's accomplices have been identified as former MetaDrive employee Raan Corsen – previously believed deceased – and former Junior Alliance operative Tsu Annabelle Singh. The Empire has placed sizeable bounties on both individuals.
Imperial military sources issued the following advice to those interested in pursuing these bounties:
"These individuals should be considered armed and dangerous. Make no attempt to communicate with them. Shoot on sight. Visual evidence of a target's death will guarantee the relevant bounty."
Salomé's current location is unknown, but she is believed to have fled the core systems.
Drew has now stated about 4 times that Salome is dead - he reiterated it yesterday on the Rift thread at least twice, and he said "no ambiguity - she is dead". Any other thing happening would mean even more conspiracy theories since it was stated before the event that any major character who was killed during the event would be dead.
Now it could be that an excape pod was picked up indeed. However, you are making some assumptions as follows:
1) Salome was in the escape pod and was alone on her ship.
2) The person in the escape pod was alive.
3) Even if the person in the escape pod was alive, they are still alive now.
Looks like Potter has started a religion.
Salomé's dead, Salomé's alive, Salomé's our new messiah.
When the players write more engaging fiction than the official author, then you're always going to have this sort of thing. More power to it.
Until you open the pod, you don't know if she's alive or dead.
Schrodinger said so.
