Elite Dangerous in North America

Wisconsin? Go Packers
Ha, I live in Green Bay :) I'm not a huge football fan, but don't tell my neighbors, they execute people for that around here.

Riktar, looks like we're going to have to have a dorky sci-fi gamer meetup. My sister has a house in MKE and my dad has a house in Madison so I'm down there from time to time.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.

I used to live in SE Wisconsin. You're not kidding about the football - it was like a low-level war between the Packers and Bears around my neighborhood. :p

Any word on this CaptGrumpyPants?

Yep..It'll be up Friday or Saturday (will post again as soon as it is up!) due to a flaky firewall that is working, but not responding to management connections. Can't reboot it until weekend after hours or there will be a large number of very angry customers...

Greetings all
I live in nw ohio and would like to meet online with people in my time zone.
My Commander name is Drebbin Voniski. I'm an alpha backer and dreading my credit card bill to come in. I bought new warthog hotas and a 34 in wide monitor. I try to play for an hour or two. Most time I get on after 9pm eastern.

Looking forward to meeting other players from my time zone, but generally wan to play coop in open sessions

We got our website up, check it out,

Checking in from the Los Angeles area! I don't know too many here who are familiar with Elite: Dangerous or the Elite franchise as a whole, but those I've discussed it with have been interested. Here's to hoping I can rope a few new players in, ay?

I'm from Houston as well, but also born & raised here. Spent a few weeks in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on a few vacations. Three weeks in Scotland back in '00, flying into Glasgow, and biking & driving to/through Edinburgh, N/S Queensferry, Perth, Forfar, Stonehaven, Aberdeen, jump back in to Braemar & back to Aberdeen to pick up laundry(!), then up to Portknockie, Inverness, down Loch Ness (didn't see Nessie, but we tried!), out 87 past the Five Sisters, Kyle of Lochalsh, then across to Skye where we played a bit of golf and drove around at random. Back off the Isle thru Lochalsh and south again through Fort William, and back into Glasgow early... so we went back to a B&B we stayed out just outside of Edinburugh in Kirkliston, surprising the owners who were so happy to see us again. And to this day, we continue to send Christmas cards to each other.

I really want to head back to Scotland again. Too much fun.

Back on topic, I'll wait and see how things work out once the game goes live. I'm already part of a TS with several players.

Another Houstonian here! Actually, I'm English and not originally from Texas... but, like they say, I got here as fast as I could :)

I lived in downtown Chicago and lived and did a project at fritolay in Beloit for a couple years. Bears over packs though :D

Count me in, from the mean streets of The Woodlands, TX lol... Great job on the site!

I'm a jump across the freeway for you, Deth!
BTW, on the northbound side of 45, a bit after Wolfies is a little business park. And inside one of the suites is an 80's era arcade called The Game Preserve. For $30/mo, you can swing in and play all the pinball and old coin-ops you want - no charge per game.

And you chose a place as hot and humid as Houston? Only one reason, and that's to cash in on the oil & gas business here!

Well, I lived in Egypt and Thailand for many years before coming here so weather wise, it's quite pleasant. And for a change, I'm nothing to do with oil and gas ;)

I wonder if they'll let us have a ship decal saying "Don't mess with Texas"! In fact, I can feel a ship name change coming on.

Good to meet you CMDR :)

Whats in bold is Home for me (Well close enough, most of my family live in the North-East). I should be back this time next year as I make my trips home bi-annually. Glad you enjoyed your time time there mate.
