Actually, I quite enjoy docking, a sense of satisfaction of lnding properly. I know, I am a sad case.
Think i might gift you Secret of the Magic Crystals on steam.. seems like it will be more up your street.

I find myself asking why you are so vitriolic in your attack on the game. Almost everything being done with the game is an improvement for all kinds of play, with one glaring exception of course. You say 'Elite: Fines' or 'Elite: with rules' as if they are a bad thing. What mindset thinks that? 'Taking the fun out of the game' I worry over your definition of 'fun'. '...turn this game into garbage...' except they aren't unless your linking 'garbage' with 'rules' and with 'fines' which are there to try and stop those mindless morons who just want to despoil. Yes, I find myself asking why you are doing this.

I disagree with OP, I think it's an amazing game.
Ok so I'm guilty of the odd moan on here - there will always be aspects of a game that don't suit ones individual tastes and a game with this much scope will constantly evolve and need tweaks.
But overall I think its brilliant.

Sorry OP, but I could not help it.
It is commendable to post improvement suggestions to the game you have thought about, and also to point out or discuss issues that do not work or could be worked on some more. And to ask for help is of course always welcome. But to post for just venting your personal distress is only to rub off your own issues on the rest of the community=not cool.
I am thinking if you log on to this game and you just do not enjoy yourself, you should consider finding a game more to your liking, yes? Or give it a rest and come back after a few updates. Lots of other new games out there now, like the Witcher. Or you can revisit Black Flag, because lets face it: that was the last good release of Assassins Creed.
I personally have played Elite: Dangerous almost non-stop for months and am still loving it! I can't wait for the 1.3 to be implemented to enrich the game experience. And then I am going to eagerly anticipate the next patch to see what wonderful improvements that will bring (along with hopefully the federal corvette, finally..).
Whatever you choose to do, remember its a game that is supposed to enrichen your spare time, not make you sour and unsatisified.
