Agree that game is returning to XBox dashboard with an error that says that it cannot connect to XBox Live, this certainly implies that it is an XBox and XBox Live issue. However the connection and multiplayer dashboard tests both return no problems and the 3-4 other online games tested all work without issues.

Oh yeah, I have the same issue here.

Edit: whether this is a Microsoft or Frontier issue I do not know, certainly seems to be isolated to Elite at the moment. Either way having Frontier aware will let them fix it if it is them, or get them to give a bigger push to Microsoft if it is them.

Edit 2: Destiny and Division just fell over as well now, definitely Microsoft issue.

Im having same issue. Says its a problem connecting to xbox live, but status of live is fine. All the crashes and horizons not being recognized randomly in-game was bad enough, now the game wont even launch. Hopefully FD sees this and gives an update.

getting same error code. Trouble connecting to Xbox Live. Netflix.. youtube.. internet is working fine....

Same here, I'm inclined to think it is Xbox over Elite, as my box won't open anything. Same error code as you guys. Up yours Microsoft.

I just escape for a battle with a FDL I had only 3mins of oxygen left and I was about to dock and cash in my imperial ranking mission. The timing couldn't be worst. This better not be those stupid hackers again...

I can play Forza 6 multiplayer just fine right now, still can't get into Elite. It's probably Xbox though, if others are having problems with other apps/games.

Damn. Thats the message I'm getting. I thought the game had had it for good with the amount of crashes I've had today. I remember gpp on xbox though, much worse. I could not play in open for months after buying the game. [knocked out]
