Looks promising, and certainly the planet looked good, but it needs more flesh on the bones as to what gameplay there will be.

No dice, Colin. I still haven't forgiven you for spoiling the end of Blakes 7 for me, after restarting it again.
I know the ending was unforgettable, but I can't even remember why I go into the kitchen these days.
Can we just mention as well...
The terrain in the trailer looks noticeably more varied than the non-atmospheric rocky planets we can visit at the moment. I believe I can see weathering, scree, pooled dust, and rock banding/layering.
I guess it makes sense given that erosion will be present on an atmospheric world, but still... really nice to see they're still tinkering under the hood and not just slapping atmospheres on the existing planet generation system, which would be the MVP solution. Could this be the fruit of the delayed "ice planet tech overhaul"?
I know certain parts of this appear to be pre-rendered, these features are visible in the early shots with the "pre-alpha footage" label.

So there was no gameplay there. Since it says fps and the whole trailer was in 3rd person? That's a bit of a bummer.
But we can see stars in daytime so there isn't much of an atmosphere on that planet.
