Yep, end of this week or beginning of next, would of been nice if we heard more but it is their second day back. all we can do is wait, I will be causing havoc in the black soon anyway lol

I guess they couldn't say anything on the livestream, but we do have the next AMA around the end of the week I think they said, which I'll look forward to.

I wouldn't be too surprised if the give just a short notice to the alpha starting, just long enough to nab a few more orders!

Yeah, never denied that. Just like I never believed the delay would be from mid December to early January.

My guess is they are using the term "Alpha" simply to give themselves more wiggle room for last-minute changes, and in reality, it's much more like a formal Beta release.

Maybe they're so busy getting the Alpha ready for launch next week that they don't have time to answer more questions. I mean, let's be honest, releasing the Alpha is easier than answering a bunch of questions... that the Alpha would answer.

Thought that too, or more like that they want to get the answers out along WITH the alpha release, but i kinda feel it too optimistic (even if i actually hope in an alpha release within January for an odissey release in april-may).

Maybe it doesn't bother me too much as I'm just chilling until they do release it however it would have taken the pressure off them if they had said an estimated date and made it so it was later than the date they think it would be ready as its always a nice surprise if it came out earlier than expected but delays tend to wind many people up and I feel that's generally why the devs don't like to give dates in the 1st place
