Elite Dangerous Odyssey TrailBlazers Update 2?
Anyone notice any immediate changes good or bad, any issues, overall better, worse or neutral?
 
Yeah, seems the same to me too, private carriers are still a nogo for docking, havent tried buying the fc again yet, still grinding out in the middle of nowhere/somewhere, lol......Anyone else grind so much that they fall asleep at the comp and abruptly wake up under fire or some other sounds and their mouse goes flying off the desk, lol.....:D
 
the nearest Trailblazer to my system is 137ly . My T9 cant make the trip there and back
Also one of my settlement still stuck in construction menu after completed. The left panel show proper status up and running but no local service when landing there
And I might have made a mistake placing agriculture settlement on a HMC because that one not producing any food at all. The refinery & industrial outpost on the same HMC have some metal & machinery on the goods list thou.

It should be just about capable of that range, even laden, if you have an engineered FSD and otherwise fairly lightweight internals.
If not, swapping one of the size 4 internals for a 4A fuel scoop only costs 16t of cargo per trip and should let you keep the tank just topped up enough to make it without needing to either stop to refuel or hang around a star too long on the way

More usefully, perhaps, the new Trailblazers might reduce the number of other people competing for your more local supplies of most things, so they'll be more reliable in future.

Hopefully that'll clear after the maintenance. It took the one I built last night about ten minutes to switch over.

I don't think it's where it's placed, but that Odyssey settlements tend to have very low production levels to start with, and starter colonies (compared with NPC systems) have a significant production penalty. In some cases that might completely zero their production.

(You can clear the penalty by boosting the various system scores - wealth, etc. - though more experimentation is needed to figure out which system scores specifically. So long as you keep pushing all of them up roughly together it should go okay, though)

I have a high tech outpost & a industrial outpost up the orbit and those 2 produce goods in great quantity & variety but only the surface ones having such low output
 
Orbital outposts are a lot bigger than Odyssey settlements (>10 times bigger, and the high-tech is even larger)
Odyssey settlements also have limited production compared with a "normal" market of their size, in terms of which commodities they select for export at all.
 
How long does it take for the number back up ? Just check the Trailblazer Song in Orgen , and the IM still only 8; same as 8h ago.
