Elite Dangerous on Epic games

I was wondering which dlc/seasons would be with the Epic Games store release.
it only says That horizons is included.
Does that mean that The beyond season isn't included and can I buy the Odyssey dlc on the epic games store once it is released.
Might be a stupid question but I can't find it anywhere and would rly like to know.

well, even with horizons now being included, it was a paid dlc and just like "wrath of the lich king" is included in wow if you buy the base game, it's imo still worth noting that it's not the basegame, it's just included with it.
with beyond i don't know though, wasn't that just a bunch of very important QoL-updates for ED and horizons?

"Beyond" was a free update so is included with the game - it was basically the third "season" and consisted of a series of updates ("chapters").

Does anyone know if this will require a second installation? My hard disk is getting a bit full these days. I assume it will require use of an Epic games launcher but is it possible to use a symbolic link (via the mklink command) to link the actual game software folder itself so Epic and the desktop launcher can both share the same set of installed files?

Also, I know people are saying that you need to use a unique email address for the Epic Game Store login (i.e. different to your existing Steam or FD Desktop login address) and I just wanted to point out that Epic don't allow use of a sub-address to feign different email addresses.

From the Epic Store itself ...

The email you used to register your Epic Games account contained a sub-address.
Note: A sub-address uses “+” or “.” characters to create more than one account on the same email address (i.e. john+123@gmail.com or j.ohn@gmail.com).

Useful info about the email o7

I can't answer this definitively yet but my experience of Epic so far is that once a game's been launched once through Epic and linked to the publisher's launcher you can then use that launcher directly eg. Uplay etc.

If it works the same way for ED then after the initial setup you can use a single install but create multiple EDLaunch.exe files in the launch directory using a different exe file for a each cmdr/email.
I can be more specific about this if it helps.

Edit: too many specfic specifics
