Can someone please help me? I'm trying to play Elite Dangerous on PS4, but it won't let me play the game. It just stays stuck installing at 34%. Sometimes when I even try to launch the game I get the CE-30005-8 error code. (Cannot start the application/Cannot continue using the application. The disc cannot be read.) This is really strange because the game worked and was playable when I first got it. (Dec 2018) It was also playable throughout 2018 - 2020 until I deleted the game and stopped playing it for awhile. Now, I want to get back into the game. I've tried everything I could ever think of. I've reinstalled it, cleaned the disc, I even initialized the PS4 having to sacrifice data/media and this issue is still present. I'm really desperate at this point. If anyone knows how to fix this, I really beg you to help me out. Please.
What about other TITLES and their installations. try them first...
Do they install. yes/no. Take a chill pill and try other titles.
If the physical is dead, due to failing BD drive do other Digital only downloads install and work...
If digital installs work but No BDs do then its duff BD readings...
34% is failute to verifiy the data is written correctly... self checks are done during install
If digital titles work then a digital purchase can be required... if BDs are dead...

Yeah, only ED is acting up. All my other physical games work
Then buy digital or buy another BD... you likely warped the BD data layer...
i would try to wipe the whole HD and reinstall everything.
