so it's aboutabusingutilising the same broken instancing mess FD creatred?
thanx for bringing this up so it can be NERFED.
Thank you.
not.
SHi Rucky, I don't think it's fair that some people know and use this while others are unaware. My channel is dedicated to educating ED players, especially begginers, thus taking away the power from small groups (that ultimately use it for griefing), and giving it back to the people![]()
Sort of, it's more of an inevitabld biproduct of P2P

+Rep for the excellent attitude!
Yes I know,
but this information is here on the forums already.
But as you do have a big audience (and this I mean in a very possitive way!) it also gets attracted by FD, so the NERF incoming is only questioned by the time it hits...

Personally I don't think that teaching new players how to abuse the game functions, instead of actually playing it, to get all the best ships and mods and suck at the actual game, then come to the forums and cry that the game is too hard, nothing makes sense anymore and FD are going bust tomorrow is such a noble cause...
As for the video... Cheap trick, boring, 0/10, would not watch again![]()
It's ok if you are not gonna watch more of my videos, it's your choice, but that's the essence of the point I'm trying to make, just like you are able to choose, so should others be able to choose if its moral for them to do it or not, but to have this choice - they first must be aware of it. Just like with the premium amunition bug which I exposed, the most disgusting part was that a select group of players was using something sinister to get advantage over players who were not aware of it's existance, every single SDC scumbag, no matter how much they deny it - were using it while others didnt know about it. I honestly have no interest if it gets nerfed or not, as long as my videos educate even one person - for me it's worth doing, and that's all the silver lining that I'll ever need to continue turning every rock I find just to see if there are maggots plotting underneath and making videos when I do so o7
So, as I can't watch video atm, is this just the crashed ship that respawns on relogging?
Fair enough, I agree with that and I also couldn't care less if this gets nerfed. Sorry, I misunderstood the "educating new players" part. I just think that they should be encouraged to play the game as intended rather than shown easy ways to make money and told "it's the way to do it". Personally I'd rather expose that kind of stuff and make a point that it's better to play the game the way it was intended (and I will never believe that FDEV for mode hopping to be abused like that).
Yes, I fully realise that "fun" is subjective, but at the same time I genuinely think that a lot of complains about the game comes from the fact that people abuse the game, they get all the best ships, lots of money and so on very quickly (by not playing as intended by the developers) and then they get bored or they are under the impression that the game is unbalanced, which subsequently leads to more whiny threads on the forums and biased opinions of the game.
That's where the education of new players is needed most IMHO. Sorry for snapping at you again, it wasn't my intention to come across so hostile.

more frontiers lazyness, because some stuff resets other not, Asteroids for exmple don't reset as well. It's just kinda devs lazyness to never having made a proper mechanic for their P2P handling.
If you are going to "let them make the moral choice", then maybe you should also point out the consequences to their gaming experience by using exploits.
The fact is that exploits exist whether some of you like it or not, and a select few are using them, like it or not. Whether we're talking wealth for endless rebuys, the funding of outrageous ganking enterprises, premium ammo bug or unlimited rolls of the rarest G5 modules, these "exploits" are well known to the hardcore elite gamers, rendering normal players and new players forever at a disadvantage. Video's such as MassiveD is sharing serve two purposes; first to give new/normal players the same opportunity, and secondly to shed some light on the exploits themselves. MassiveD has been doing a fantastic job helping to educate the average Joe with his video's, as has some members of SDC, too, ironically. Through their efforts and those of others, perhaps these exploits will eventually be wiped out. Hopefully.
Share the info and allow players to make the choice themselves. Good work MassiveD!
