Is it just me or does a presentation of the game with no Saturnian rings seem a bit "shot in the foot"?

Not exactly a glowing advert for the game, coupled with the stuttering issue on display too.

Oh, and a bit of nit-picking - Arf said you can visit any of these stars in the galaxy map - erm, no, permit locks, cough cough.

So it wasn't just me then. I was wondering why there were no rings on Saturn? Seriously? I guess I don't ever get around to Sol very often.

So, will there be (or is there - I haven't checked tbh) an easier way of getting the Sol permit than cozying up to the Feds? I reset a CMDR and that one never got the permit so far.

The only way that has worked in recent years is to persuade an immense alien killing machine to jump into the system and start attacking, then everyone will get an hostilities only permit.

Great endorsement to be featured on space.com! I agree that further developing the game with a view on its benefit for science education has great potential.

On a somewhat related note, Destiny uploaded a video about neutron stars a few days ago and used footage from ED. Very neat to see ED used in an educational format.

The video credits the footage at 0:49, 6:17, 7:13, 8:11 etc. I could be wrong but possibly the opening scene is from ED as well.
