Dunno... Odyssey isn't out yet, so any definitive comment about it or its performance is a waste of effort until it is in our posession, surely?

ETA: Perhaps the best thing to do is watch the gameplay trailer in a couple of days... Then decide to wait until Odyssey is released in the wild and others are playing it - then decide if it is worth the effort of downloading it?

My post was more wishful towards Odyssey finally making this the game we really want to see it become.

Well, you only need to buy 1 ticket (the Odyssey DLC) but might need to buy more if your alts need them too. The rest of the hype train show will be free to watch. Looking forward to it 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿 (Hey, I like popcorn Ok)

I have been playing since some time in Q2 2016 and am looking forward to watching the Hype Train zooming past me.

What I am looking forward too in the full video is all those Holo Me avatars of ourselves that we sent in doing things in the background.

The journey to Colonia gave me plenty of stars to fill up my wide screen monitor plus getting friendly with many factions.
Real l life I live to close to a city. I want to live in the boonies where I can see a thousand stars at night. In the USA being
crowded it is becoming harder to do...So I'm left with ED for now.

Couldn't be more excited about all this. Elite Dangerous is sincerely the best game I have ever played. Started early 2018 and got over 1250h now and I'm ready for my next step ;)

With all due respect if you think the USA is becoming crowded visit the U.K.
The majority of the USA is almost uninhabited in comparison.

Maybe the best space sim, not in general imo.

Let's keep expectations low to not get disappointed.

You are right. There are 11 states in the USA that are larger than the entire U.K. Being crowded you may have to vacation in Europe to find all the stars. I feel for you.

If yes, I need to take Friday off work.

We're already in Europe, just not the EU.

I suspect our friend MoleHD, living on an island in Scotland isn't feeling too crowded. In fact the population density in large parts of the Highlands mean you're unlikely to be bumping elbows.

You could just watch the trailer in the morning. 😉

If you sleep through the event and watch the video as soon as you wake up, you'll get to see the trailer sooner (from your perceptual, conscious perspective), not use up a day of leave, and not have to sit through all the hype and guff of an awards show to get it.
