Today is the day I left my days as a bounty hunter/trader behind me and decided upon a life of piracy, Yaar!

After finding myself a sweet hunting ground, I set about getting myself some live meat. The first few encounters ended briefly when they failed to heed my request to stop, some died and some limped off if I was feeling benevolent. If the meat didn’t have cargo and looked too fresh to cook, I always gave them some cargo for the inconvenience of being pulled out of super cruise.

But what happened next was just so much fun and totally unexpected, three CMDRs in an interdiction instance - love it! I kinda got lucky, but had things of not gone my way and I lost my ship, I wouldn’t have cared! To have a player driven scenario pan out this way was too much fun :D

Top story, and nice vid. Great to see such awesome emergent gameplay! Your target's mate was pretty swift at following the fsd wake. And then a speedy double takedown. Good stuff!

I agree about the gameplay, hopefully the wings that we will be getting shortly will improve the likely hood of traders having escorts. Top marks to those guys for the team work, had I not been in a souped Cobra, I dare say the encounter would of swung in their favor.

I'm not entirely sure, but I presume the amount of lead and heat I was putting into him at such close range made his paper plane pop - does distance have a bearing on how much damage can be done? I'm sure I have noticed it whilst NPC hunting.
