Luckily, I am not collecting these. Also, who would I ask to be rid of the "participation award" Taranis decal which I received just for being there when I didn't even shoot at it once (and really don't want).

Still not convinced this was any good as "Last Titan in Sol". As just "Titan in Sol", it might work but like this it's just more fizzling out after months were spent waiting and setting up for the 'finale'. Then it was just turned into the same bog-standard no-risks one week cleanup.

That’s unlikely. It’s down half a heart after about 4 hours and there’s 8 in total. Of course things will speed up as more players get involved but this is unlikely to be another Titan Hadad where it begins exploding barely two days (just under two, to be precise) in.

Unless Frontier tweak its hitpoints I would expect that it doesn’t make the weekend though.

Community Goal - Battle for Sol: Destroy Titan Cocijo

The last remaining Thargoid Titan, Cocijo, is now vulnerable to attack following a concerted effort by AX forces. Rescue Ships Hutner and Cornwallis sell all necessary modules for this mission. Aegis scanners will record any damage inflicted on Cocijo by individual ships, so pilots will not need to register at a port prior to participation. Those who do wish to register manually can do so at Rescue Ship Hutner in Luyten's Star.

I know the Ascendency update mentioned that multicrewmates now get titan rewards, but to be clear, does that include the rewards like the anaconda kit and paintjob, or is that just referring to the credit rewards?

sadly as a deep space explorer, I have missed all of them. I am not sure if I want to turn around and break off my trip once again in the hopes of getting some of the rewards, but good luck to those who will and get that thing down and fly dangerous o7

I'm far from thrilled about FDev locking game wide useful modules behind a niche activity. Some of the accounts that I need access to the modules on are built for furl ratting only and have extremely focussed engineer access. I've never done AX and never wanted to. :/

There have been other CGs with exclusive & useful rewards...
As with all of them, participate to get them, or don't & not.
A Titan bomber can be built from parts bought from Rescue ships etc. You only need to make a single run, even if killed after hitting the heart you will retain the bonds, and be in with a chance of getting those modules.

Your choice, of course.

not really. I bombed the titan first, and only then went to the rescue ship and I was already in the CG, without actually registering. So I assume as soon as you damage the core, you are automatically entered into the CG without any need to register. It also says as much in the CG description.

Actually, they do. They’re not the most ideal weapon to shoot the Titan’s core (which, for all practical intents and purposes, takes full damage from all AX weapons), but to secure a basic contribution they’d be sufficient.

This is AXI’s “recommended” Titan killer build though I think it’s slightly outdated and would now replace the beam laser with another missile rack.

Has Cocijo got less damage resistance than the other Titans or are the rewards enough to drive Cmdrs bloodlust and take it down in record time?

I am half expecting the traces of the eight upscaled Titans each of the now or soon to be defeated Titans summoned to appear very early in the new year.

I’m not at home tonight so can’t see what’s going on in game, but going from the noises being made online it’s genuinely sounding like Cocijo isn’t going to last until the weekend - is this actually likely? Has Cocijo got less damage resistance than the other Titans or are the rewards enough to drive Cmdrs bloodlust and take it down in record time?

They pushed its hitpoints to 2 million when the Thursday turnout could have taken it out before the weekend. Now it might go into at least Saturday, something that is definitely assured if it gets more hitpoints again.

Previously might’ve been a mixture of lowballing the figure and lots of players getting drawn to this because Frontier is advertising the ‘event’ heavily.
