Also: It looks like this update broke al-tabbing. I have to click on the Elite window multiple times until it gets the active window.

There seem to be some sound problems as well, like when I tried to open the fleet carrier menu while undocking on auto-pilot form a Station. Some garbled noise - I thought the system was about to crash.

Think its mostly post patch blues... had missions pop up on my stations but lots of disconnects and assorted oddness.. so same stuff different day gunna wait for the server load to stabilise before spitting my dummy out =)

i just get this trying to update,. the update then fails.

The system is Hydrae Sector CL-Y d78 (rolls of the tongue - when I colonised it I made the joke that I would call it bob, hence the name of the outpost), but I have no idea about the imports and exports. I haven't docked yet and looked at the market. Not to sure how to get comprehensive info on that from the galaxy map.

Game was working fine yesterday and I docked in the new station I completed (waiting for the server tic to activate it). After installing the update:-
Loading the game shows "Connection to Server Lost" message;
Waited 5 minutes for server connection to establish;
Clicked "Solo" mode;
Game Loading screen appeared;
Followerd by the screen with rotating ship ... after a few minutes the "mauve adder" connection error appears.

Nothing has changed on my PC apart from installing the latest update!

Solo mode = Connect me to the servers, but don't let anyone see me.
Of course you're affected by server problems in solo mode too.

Don't panic its usual after patches for everything to be screwed for a while, not good i know just usual

Just installed the new "patch". I thought it was rather small. I'm not going to try playing after what I'm reading as I might get the same crashes.
