Elite Dangerous | Trailblazers Update 2 - Wednesday March 19

It will be really nice if we get a more detailed explanation how each construction affects the system economy and how the system's composition is interacting with it. If I build a starport around a WW will it become agricultural? If I build it around a metal rich world, will it become a refinery focus? If I decide to build all types of installations and settlements in a system, will the starports start selling everything they produce/buying everything they need? How does specific bodies affect tourism? The descriptions are so vague and with zero logic, as it stands now, people have to figure stuff on their own and guess if this matters at all. We get just arrows goes left and right and thats it! Will it kill to add tooltips what each construction buys and sells? Will it kill to add tooltip on each stellar body what it will generate with each construction?

Thank you so much for the update!

About the FC jump complaints:
Make sure you have selected valid targets and try out e.g. the planets next to your target, had it several times that all slots there were occupied and mixed that up with the jump "queue" issue.

Er.... bit premature?
Thought it was meant to be 9am? Not 7am?

Wait, they remembered to announce that it was going to be extended downtime, but they got the time wrong?

Sounds great! Community goal might be a nice break from colonizing commodity runs. Looking forwards to it.

Now we just need the planetary facilities to be viewable like orbital stations are. You can click on an orbital outpost and view some of it's details, you can't with installations. You have no idea what installation was what. You can't look at facility details on a planetary structure. You can only select the planet.

I'd also like the ability to see which specific station/design you chose to build. I want to click on a structure and it say "X" type facility and "Y" style. Tier would be nice.

I'd like to not have to keep a notepad to do this.

They'd let you track your personal work done. It'd also mean that "what power and state?" gets populated more accurately by general passing traffic, rather than having weirdness where systems look unoccupied if anyone unpledged goes through.

There doesn't seem to be anything in that which would tell you the precise slider position within Fortified, say, or the total merits put in for both sides this week.
Thanks, that's my impression too... we're relying on our in-house tools to track PP systems statuses and enemy activity, but for the most part It has to rely on scouting (= time consuming).

The "System Claim Unsuccessful" planets.

Will they get fixed one by one randomly as time goes on, or will there be another update which will fix all the planets that have been marked after this update?

Oh, well, back to Legacy Horizons. Apart from that time they forgot to re-enable the servers for 12 hours, it's actually pretty predictable over there. Turns out 40 minutes of downtime actually is 40 minutes, when nobody's fixing anything.
