Fifteen type one outposts coming up.Good news: I bought the copper grey paint job for one type of outpost, and it is available for all my orbital outposts of different types, no further purchase required.
well, at least i know i'm not the only one not able to start the game after the update. people are talking about features... but some (like me) can't even start the game after the updateIs that a drink from Orange Julius?![]()
Have you run the file verification option from the launcher?well, at least i know i'm not the only one not able to start the game after the update. people are talking about features... but some (like me) can't even start the game after the update
I don't think an Industrial system would look right with palm trees and leisure parks everywhere... nor a tourism station with loads of smelting going on?@Phil W I have a question about the planned cosmetics for stations, I know we just got paint jobs, but is there a plan to release the interior layouts as something to buy? Kind of like how Fleet Carriers have different layouts you can buy. I would like to be able to set my station interior to something like this one (once I build the station that is.).

I know for NPC stations, economy effects the station interior, does that apply to player built ones as well? If so, and if there a plan to sell the station interiors for ARX, I'm assuming we will be able to override whatever the BGS has put there?
That interior is based on a tourism economy. I'm pretty sure that particular tourism station is the lowest population version. I live in the Colonia region, in the Benzaiten system. All my ships are at a station just like that (the only one like it in all of Colonia, actually). So, it stands to reason, using the new colonization templates, you should be able to get that by default if you build the right station in the right system with the right planet you're orbiting. But it would make no sense to "buy an interior" for tourism when your station is actually a manufacturing economy.@Phil W I have a question about the planned cosmetics for stations, I know we just got paint jobs, but is there a plan to release the interior layouts as something to buy? have done twice. it's doing weird things... sometimes the bugreport program supposed to be run crashes itself. the launcher is up to date, the client is up to date and the file verification passed checks. but when i start the client it goes up for about 1 minute and then crashesHave you run the file verification option from the launcher?
It's my money, time and effort I'm putting in. I'd like to make it look like whatever I want. I want one of the stations to be a welcome center of sorts. That's what I want.I don't think an Industrial system would look right with palm trees and leisure parks everywhere... nor a tourism station with loads of smelting going on?
Replaced Escape Pods as ethos activities for Powers that used them.
- Arissa Lavigny-Duval
- Acquisition: Collect Escape Pods → Sell commodities for large profit
- Aisling Duval:
- Acquisition: Collect Escape Pods → Transfer "Employee Data" & "Political Data"
- Reinforcement: Collect Escape Pods → Reboot mission completion
- Undermining: Collect Escape Pods → Hand in salvage
- Edmund Mahon

Ok so my first question is, Does the station interior get effected by the economy for player built stations, as it does for NPC built stations? Cuz I think I have a tourism planet in my system I could potentially use. However, I don't want to go that route if there are plans to sell station interiors anyway. I'd rather build it around the "pretty" planet in my system and override the interior with an arx purchase later. That interior is based on a tourism economy. The art department was under-utilized...I don't think an Industrial system would look right with palm trees and leisure parks everywhere... nor a tourism station with loads of smelting going on?
ok thanks for the quick response. I hope they DO plan it eventually because that would be cool. I don't see the "Tourism" interior alot and I know it makes for great beauty shots for coming into the station, and would make a great welcome center look for the central "crown jewel" station for systems. We don't have any plans at the moment to allow you to buy and change station interiors, however I have fed back that players would like to have them.
