I advise to start the game with silent running engaged, or feel free to pop a heat sink. I read somewhere that this suppresses the manifest scanner scnr
I hear you but in this case it is as straightforward as possible.im too dumb to installing and running min-ed launcher, github always confuses the heck outta me
Since only some people seem to be experiencing this, I'm wondering if it could perhaps be caused by some sort of file corruption. Just to rule it out, in the launcher try clicking on "manage" and "validate files". It's unlikely to fix the problem, but doesn't hurt to try.Orange Sidewinder since the Update !!
This was done through steam and the same issue occurs, the Play button after the launcher comes up will grey out, and then revert back to the lit up Play buttonSince only some people seem to be experiencing this, I'm wondering if it could perhaps be caused by some sort of file corruption. same here , lauching from stand alone. even tried unsintaling the game. when I try to reinstal I receive a message "INCORRECT MANIFEST CHECKSUM" .
and I cannot even reinstall the game.
please help!
verifying files brings "invalid manifest checksum". And then that is that. No reinstalling Odyssey. No reinstalling launcher.
no, have seen one or two people who's issue was fixed by it, but many more who are still having issues, including me. Based off the logs and what the guy from support told me, I think its powerplay/bgs related, perhaps its related to their patch to the stutter bug or something related to it.Since only some people seem to be experiencing this, I'm wondering if it could perhaps be caused by some sort of file corruption. tried that in reference of older posts describing the same behavior from the launcher both clicking play or validating fileThis is fixed by going to Windows's "internet options" (search for that in the taskbar's search box), and then clicking on "delete...", and then "delete" (the default choices ought to surffice). Then try validating files / updating in the launcher again.
Strange. Whenever I have got the infamous "incorrect manifest checksum" error, deleting temporary files in that manner has always helped.tried that in reference of older posts describing the same behavior from the launcher both clicking play or validating file
Didn't work for me
That did not fix anything for me. I am having the same issue on two separate machines, and both with the Frontier only launcher and with the Steam one...This is fixed by going to Windows's "internet options" (search for that in the taskbar's search box), and then clicking on "delete...", and then "delete" (the default choices ought to surffice). Just to make sure: By "same issue" you are talking about getting an "invalid manifest checksum" error when you try to update or validate files? And this even after having deleted temporary files? That did not fix anything for me. Yes. I have also tried uninstalling the game completely, including the launcher on one of the PCs. Getting the same invalid manifest checksum error when trying to reinstall the game from the launcherJust to make sure: By "same issue" you are talking about getting an "invalid manifest checksum" error when you try to update or validate files? And this even after having deleted temporary files?
