There is no Void Black. This kind of trolling hurts. COME ON! Dreams crushed, reality is a lie, don't trust the news media, lol

Actually there is.

"It's really bad for the eyes."

It was a ship of classic, simple design, like a flattened salmon, twenty yards long, very clean, very sleek. There was just one remarkable thing about it.

"It's so... black!" said Ford Prefect. "You can hardly make out its shape... light just seems to fall into it!"

The blackness of it was so extreme that it was almost impossible to tell how close you were standing to it.

"Your eyes just slide off it..." said Ford in wonder.

Do you know what's nice using Steam for updates ? You know the size of the "diff". (and it's faster)
3 lines for the patch ? 27.5 GB ???

You can cry about these outstanding issues as much as you like here, but the only place Fdev take note of them is on the Issue tracker! Go Raise or vote for them here :- https://issues.frontierstore.net/reported-issues/elite-dangerous
The issues need to be organized into categories. Should a player want to contribute to an issue, how do you find that issue. There are almost 4,500 reports and I am not going to search through all this stuff to find the one or two that I am interested in supporting. This is an example of how Frontier seems to be concerned about player input but buries the input into an impossible pile of non-sense, so that no one can find anything.

Anyone seen a Titan? :)

I need one more day to back to the bubble so I hope it will wait for me hahahhaha

There is a search tool

So apparently selling rare goods for the weekly assignment doesn't work, it doesn't count it or straight up goes back to main menu with a yellow adder/transaction server error. Selling exploration data for the weekly doesn't count either. Sold ~900k for the ~300k assignment, didn't count.

Most of the issues are on the tracker and are generally the highest voted issues. On top of that, Frontier have also acknowledged them. Still been waiting over a year for a fix for flickering shadows and FC related issues :). The reason the issue tracker is leaking to the forums much more lately is because people are fed up of waiting insane amounts of time for fixes for serious bugs while enduring radio silence from Frontier's end. They upvote them into space and it makes no difference. Major updates come and go with all their little patches and we hear or see nothing regarding the most egregious bugs.

I say we float the idea of a paid DLC that is dedicated entirely to bug fixes and QOL improvements to Frontier. That way, they actually have a financial incentive, instead of just a moral/ethical one, to actually address them because honestly I don't see any of these major issues being fixed anytime soon without that financial incentive. Maybe I am wrong, but if I have to assume or predict, I will do so based on the evidence thus far, not baseless hope and blind faith.

That's why I am buying ARX :D

Murder from a BGS perspective has been nerfed several times into the floor- the issue with PP2 murder (as part of crime) is that its punished hard and rewards very little. So for millions in bounties you gain 40 odd merits, compared to nearly x8 more for doing less.
But it's easily repeatable and works anywhere, while other activities depend on faction states, system, economy, supply, demand, etc.

And? Do those other routes lock you out, cost you billions, and result in super police shooing you off? In BGS work there is nearly always a legal route to do something- you can even cheese the C+P and do assaults and get no bounties at all.

In Powerplay 2, Power NPCs barely shoot back, result in no ATR and have low bounties. Compare to murder (a PP2 objective for some) it has crossover into BGS punishments for hardly any reward.

So while murder is easily repeatable, sooner rather than later its downsides catch up with you. For example, on a number of my ships I had billions in bounties, was wanted across vast areas of space- all the time having less than 400 million in cash.

Greetings, dear CMDRs)

I've seen that inara said it didn't need any materials for Ram Tah anti guardian zone upgrade. The update notes cliams about tactical core chip only. Is it supposed one could get the upgrade for free?

Which guarantees nothing. You're buying a digital currency. Frontier owe you nothing more than increasing your arx balance. If they released a paid bug fix DLC, they would be obliged under law to deliver on what they sold us, or consumer protection laws start coming into play.

The blocking of the functionality of the fleet carrier bartender makes the Odyssey DLC practically unplayable. Who wants to waste time collecting materials while all those mats in your FC are being held hostage? I suggest everyone suspend the bartender service.
That's what I've done and suggest to everyone, just uninstall the bartender completely, its entirely useless considering the bugs Frontier have graced us with. Contrary to popular belief, you do not lose your Odyssey materials stored on the carrier when you uninstall the bartender. I mean, I wouldn't know for sure, considering how everything on my carrier is now stuck there, but upon visual inspection all my stuff is still there being held hostage despite the bartender being completely uninstalled.
