Exactly. Rescuers in all out shooting sprees to reap the rewards, fully armed explorers roaming the galaxy in search of suckers... I mean stranded CMDRs. Good times. :D Now if FD could add repair drones to expand our business. "Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to shoot you while refueling. But for a small fee I have repair bots in the back." ;)

Trader runs --- BOOM (shoots out drives, reduces hull to 3%)

"I repeat, drop 40t or die! Drop another 40t and I'll repair your ship!"

I will add a little note. The steam group was made on the 26th Nov, days before Surly_badgers initial post. We both have come up with the idea, just want to implement differently. I was looking to initially have it that the rescues paid but decided to make it voluntary to make the group different and with badgers blessing we are going to have fun rivalry. With that we will be sharing tips and tricks to make sure people get effective rescues.

When it comes to known people. Sadly as I am a Paramedic working in the ambulance service I have little time to play elite but I also thought it would be fun to use my own personal experience and expertise to make it interesting.

Overall I hope close working with fuel rats but with little cheap digs at each other. In middle of break and will gladly answer questions in a few hours once I get home to assure anyone the full intentions of having a rival rescue group. Take care all :)

Agreed. But seeing a red cross, or any kind of emergency services, skin on a combat vessel would just be wrong. Perhaps they'd better not have them in any form? (and if they do make sure it's not a net benefit, like I tried)

I'm a Fuel Rat and for the record I won't be charging for any calls I make - the money made honking systems along the way will more than make up for the time and effort (and get me one step closer to Elite Exploration).

Also, note the sweet logo now worked into my licence background ;)

Im in it for the fun and enjoyment and also a reason to go out there other than to explore, something that this game doesn't give at the mo.

That's why we do a friend request first so we can tell where the caller is.
And we come armed.

Aaand it would be totally inappropriate to say "nyaa nyaa nyaa CMDR Anuranium of the Fuel Rats rescued a guy without insurance in a Python today..." So I won't.
