Haven't had the time to listen (note to self; make time) but "Mature" is probably a stretch given that we are all looking forward to engaging our inner child by playing a game.

I just came from the forum of another kickstarter game that shall be nameless and I actually feel dirty after wading through the colossal pile of excrement being thrown around by the 'fans.' Some of the stuff was downright offensive, and I think I'm a tolerant person for the most part.

By contrast I've seen mainly mature, enthusiastic, and helpful people on these boards. Fellow forum-goers, I salute you.

Well, the crowd on these forums is much smaller than some other kickstarter forums. I think the problem stems from the fact that once you get a larger and larger group of people the number of jerks rises exponentially. Because Elite is a relatively 'small' thing so far, some of the jerkier people have very luckily not noticed or not bothered. Let's hope it remains so.
