I posted earlier about making the Deep Space Events (DSE for short) a interactive event with just 1 button and add a button on the app on the status screen that only works in deep space. This can also work with that idea..
I can repost that if you like...

But it would work like this...
"home" feed is playing, then it stops, pause, then a mechanical automated voice (used in the DSE also) says "Home feed stopped. Local signal detected." and then proceed to the normal DSE interactive
After the DSE they can manually restart the "home" feed (maybe can open a button that has a redetect home or) it will restart when the player jumps to the next system.

Just an update..MagicMau the App stop working in-game, just not there in the G19 LCD or in system tray ( didn't restart it ).

I also noticed that later my VA would close down without the dialog box popping up saying application error , which has been happening for quite sometime ( G19 been used) told Gary about the VA problem here's the thread , you may want to check it out , Not sure if its this app

Tried this install link as well no avail ..6 times lol .. was working ,

Update ... VA , wouldn't close down again , & Elite G19 was not running , looking at EDDI more now

It seems your application does not send the correct coordinates into EDSM.
Do you have sources available for me to check?

Hi All
This looks to be a great app as I have the G13 and an iPad so thought I'd give it a go. One thing I was very keen on was the Traffic chatter. However no matter what I try I can't get it to say a word. Very quiet in space!
I can get to the Twitch channels and Sidewinder radio etc but no Space Traffic.

I get nothing through the Logitech G App or the window (Using windows 10 64bit). I can see what I'm doing wrong anyone have any ideas.
Any help appreciated.

First, need to ask, have you added VerboseLogging? Are you in a system with a space station in it?

In addition to foxpur's comment, I want to add that the app uses the text-to-speech engine that's built into Windows. And specifically, it only uses the English language voices that you have installed. If you have an English version of Windows 10 for instance, it means that you will probably have 3 voices pre-installed.
If you have a non-English version, may I recommend to install the English language as this will install the voices too.

Alternatively, you can search the web for (free or paid) SAPI5 voices that add this capability to your Windows installation.

Otherwise, send me a log file please, perhaps there is a bug that needs fixing! :)

Deep Spare... nothing like it... but your app and I have this default setup that loads the app as part of my game routine....

Well yesterday that really got strange. I started to run the game, decided I didn't have time and never loaded the actual game.

A phone call, a few hours later and I thought bed sounds good.... add a few more hours, 3:30am-ish... And I hear a unknown female in my room saying, "Help me. Is anybody out there?" the speakers in their surroundness made is sound like it just outside the windows (I'm a straight drop of 12 floors out that window).

I'm ½ asleep, drugged from my meds and hear that in the middle of the night out a 12th floor window... I am NOT gonna open that window!!!

You guessed it, took a few minutes... several few.. to realize the G19 app is running and no station

Oh, @CadburyDragon: For Windows 10, add a language using Settings > Time & Language > Region and Language > Add a Language. Select an English language option to install.

For Windows 8 or earlier, there is another trick you can use to get some free additional English text-to-speech voices that can be used by the app (or VoiceAttack). Note that this does not seem to work on Windows 10:

* Download the 6 files that start with "MSSpeech_TTS_en" from this Microsoft site
* Install these 6 voices
* Use the instructions on this page to update the registry, or use this registry file which does the same: View attachment update-tts-voices.zip
* If you now open the Control Panel > Speech Recognition > Change text to speech settings, in the drop down by voice selection you should now see plenty English voices.
* If you restart the EliteG19s app now you hopefully hear a bit more traffic control (when you are in a populated system in supercruise)

Just an update.. to your App. Im using Joycurves on Win 10 64 bit , since Ive stopped using G19 ( the last update threads above wouldn't install) I no longer have any issues with the Joystick suddenly not responding, a restart of Joycurves would fix the issue but not for long.. as mentioned , I also had issues with Voice attack not closing down , I got the impression , that EDDI and G19 don't play well together , Anyone else has these issues ?

This seems to be an awesome app, but it can't find the Elite folder. Not sure if I screwed that up though. I tried changing it to the installation folder and the logs folder inside as well, and also to the one I was pointed to in the user files. Didn't work. What exactly am I to do when I get this message:

"Could not find Elite installation folder. \r\nCheck the EliteFolder option in the options file (path)..."

Went there already and gave it the installation folder, but the app crashed then.


EDIT: Solved. I forgot to turn the \ into \\ in the filepath I specified in the options file... Thus crash.

Just discovered this app (G19 user) and utterly amazed! Works flawlessly and a true addition to the game and keyboard. Super happy with it :D

Ok thanks found what you were referring to, I'll try it out now. Would like to manually add 3rd part voices with digital modification. I'll keep trying.

No I'm not being facetious....its what I hear from one of the Cdrs on responding to STC. it just repeats Blah Blah Blah..with a number of other word thrown in. Anyone have any ideas     I've done if anything?

Hmm... I wonder if that is the emerging AI... But seriously, if it is saying blahblah there is probably something wrong with the installed TTS voice. Do you have it with all of the voices or just one?

Regarding your earlier question, getting SAPI 5 voices isn't the easiest, especially on Windows 10. Like Foxpur said, use Windows to install more english language packs (US and UK English). You could also buy the IVONA ones, which are awesome, but expensive. I will try to compile a list of freely available SAPI5 voices and how to install them in Windows 10. Give me a couple of days :)

The app uses a couple audio filters to warp the voices a bit so that they sound somewhat different, but unfortunately the variation is a bit limited at times.
