Zero effort job, more an observation than a meme really
First Encounters was released too early due to demands by Gametek, and the legend goes that they then managed to send the wrong disks to the duplicators, shipping an even earlier beta. The remastered version was still broken, it being nearly impossible to complete the main storyline without crashes and save game corruption. Eventually it became playable thanks to a fan-made mod that fixed the bugs and ported the game to Windows
