Post you nope story's on this thread I will start with two examples.
About to launch in my anaconda return to surface to see a type 9 and another anaconda trying to fit though the mail slot at the same time" Nope never mind"
Returning to base after bounty hunting in my courier low on ammo slightly damaged oh look a strong signal source. .4 elite anacondas. .."Nope nah ah bye" .
What are your famous nope moments. I was going to post a funny cowboy bebop gif but I can't get it to work

I was practicing combat and trying to get my ranking up in a CZ, was mainly using multi-cannons so had to pop back every so often to the nearby station to stock up on ammo and do any repairs.
The last time I went back to the CZ I dropped in from SC and immediately selected my side before I'd even deployed weapons - the entire CZ was red and I was in the middle of it, um, nope, sorry, bye.
Just about had enough hull and oxygen to make it back to the station.

Submits to interdiction. One Anaconda. Not too bad, I can take him in my cobra. three more anaconda's jump out. Nope, nope nope. Can't touch my boost, I'm out of here.

After only a few days playing this new version, I was interdicted and not knowing all the ways to check 'who' is interdicting me, I immediately went to guns and shot a fed navy ship.

They don't take apologies very well :/

Best be glad it wasn't an anaconda fed ship.

Normally being a Cobra flyer, I see an wanted Elite Viper trying to interdict me and say to my little brain say, oh yes please, bring it on and throttle down. At this point I remember I am in my T-6. Just a little heart pounding moment, boosting for my life.

Be me, flying a Cobra back in my first few weeks of playing the game on PC.
Drop into a Strong Signal source for the first time.
See some gold floating there.
Move in to scoop the gold.
See 6 Pirate Vultures coming my way.
Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope. I'm out.

In my courier Im ready for a fight come get me ..pew.. oh it's wing of 3 elite pythons never mind I'm out of ammo any way.....shields offline nope nope nope oh so much nope. Or being surrounded by system defense force and accidentally shoot one of them sorry oh you don't accept apologies. ..run away!!!

in my Type-6 doing my normal trade run 104t of slaves in the cargo hold when suddenly another player in a Fer-De-Lance with a deadly rank interdicts me, baring in mind I sold my weapons for extra jump range and cause having weapons is less useful on the T6 than not having them, we had an interdiction tussle for about 2 minutes straight but I finally managed to evade it. I start going full speed to the station trying to get there as fast as I can but just before I manage to get there the FDL is back and he interdicts me again... Unlucky for me the interdiction bugs out so the escape vector is flying all over the place so instead I just submit and do my usually chaff and boost get away. The guy decides instead of concentrating on trying to get me he got cocky and sent me the message "Nice try"... by the time he was out of chat I was back in super cruise and almost at the station.

all this time without enough money for rebuy cause I spent all my money on the slaves.

I'm able to drop at the station and notice he's dropped after me but I'm in enemy territory and it's an outpost so the fight isn't over yet. I manage to get into the dock and he was waiting outside for me, hiding inside the Hangar I tell him I sold all my cargo and have nothing in my cargo hold anymore and that I have a friend in an anaconda on his way so he should run. He fell for my bluff and I didnt see him back.

lol Good stuff. I was running a load of palladium earlier tonight in my Clipper without a shield generator. I got chased to the station, dropped out to dock, the guy dropped behind me. Unlike your situation it was a friendly station, and the authorities lit the guy up as soon as he hit me in the no fire zone. I was still flying white knuckled though. I can only imagine the amount of stress you were going through. lol

Flying a Hauler early in the game, get interdicted, feeling lucky and submit, weapons to bare full power to my gimballed pulse laser, lock on target, one sidewinder, kill him quick, two Cobra Mk. III's jump in and start firing beam lasers at me... NOPE NOPE NOPE Boost Boost Boost, dead within a minute.

Was doing something assassination missions in my Diamondback Scout and had just interdicted this preacher in a type 9 with an eagle and viper escort. I quickly beam lasers eagle to get him out of the way, and then moved onto the viper and took him out without to much difficulty. As I took down the type 9's shields a system authority eagle showed up and started shooting me, I killed him thinking that should be able to get out of the system before too much chaos ensues. But I thought wrong, once I got the type 9 to about 30% power plant a fleet of 2 anacondas and 2 vultures jumped in and started shooting me. I launched one last torpedo at the type 9 in an attempt to finish him off before I buggered out but it left him with about 3% pp left when I saw 2 plasma balls sail across my screen. I managed to escape with about 15% hull left, a 45k bounty on my head, and a failed mission as I limped back home

I had just bought a new vulture and thought I had power allocation under control. I was interdicted by an unshielded Python... *SQUEEEE!!!!!!!* :D
I activated my hardpoints... Shields went down, thrusters went down, life support went down.... *AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!* :eek:
"NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!!!!"... closed hard points, sweated bullets until the thrusters came back up, and popped chaff; WHICH REOPENED MY HARDPOINTS AND SHUT ME DOWN AGAIN; somehow survived long enough to close the hardpoints again; and frantically jumped systems to escape the mass lock... :eek:

Needless to say, I have paid more careful attention to my power allocation since. *lol* :cool:
