Thats a 'modern' compatible machine built from ground up. Many people still like there 8bitsHa ha I remember when I upgraded my ZX81 to the Speccy! My god it was wonderful! So many great games, with Elite of course. That awful Lenslok system to prevent piracy - simpler times...
I went from ZX80 to Motorola 68000 and after the i486 DX2 66
Each time a giant leap.

Amiga 500 ?Well if memory serves, and it doesn’t cos I’m old, I toyed with the ZX81 and the BBC Micro. Eventually I ended up with an Amiga - and what a machine that was!
In any case you know the Z80 and the Motorola 68000, as you have had a ZX81 and an Amiga.Well if memory serves, and it doesn’t cos I’m old, I toyed with the ZX81 and the BBC Micro. Eventually I ended up with an Amiga - and what a machine that was!
In view of your progress, I would not be surprised that for your passage on PC was an Intel i486 processor or then a Pentium processor.![]()
Ah so finally you know all these processors.Started with a PC that was pre-286. Can’t remember the details though, but it had just a green text monitor.
Moved on to a 386-16 and then my favourite which was a 486-25 - loved that!
Always good to keep those old machines.I dont just talk the talk View attachment 182068
