ELITE Rudder pedals.. How I use them..

Did you know Thrustmaster makes these Elite Rudder pedals? I use them because they are compatible with Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar (additional USB mod available).. check Ebay or craigslist or auction sites, used pc hardware stores..

The HOTAS Cougar (hands on throttle and stick) is solid metal (pot metal several pounds!) comes with 78 programmable buttons and switches with all modes included - 4 hat switches, two rotating knobs on throttle.. and modified with magnetic sensors..

There are some issues with at least some USB rudders (CH pro pedals) in 1.0 and 1.1.

The engine seems to have some issues with multiple devices input.

They should(tm) be fixed by 2.0

At this time you don't use them, at the same time as another input.

There is a known issue with multiple controllers as the game cannot tell the difference between them and gets confused. They are working on it though, so maybe in alpha 2...

Thanks for the upfront honesty Mike :).

*Fingers crossed* it won't take too long, I may just have to disconnect the rudder pedals and throttle to enjoy and test the multiplayer otherwise I will have to wait until another patch. Some people have had luck with the Ch Control Panel manager, I found it to be arcane and a pain to learn.

When it does get fixed can we then please have it sent out as a separate update so we don't have to wait for too long? :D
