To be clear :

  • The Alliance Discord is not dead! :)
  • The rules some people didn’t like were:

    And we continue to think that insulting people should not be allowed. Sorry.
  • The Alliance discord is an open community server. Everyone who respect the rules is welcome.

The Alliance Discord is a great place for:
  • News and informations about ED and the Alliance
  • An open and friendly community
  • Experienced players for all questions a pilot can have
  • Channels for different common languages (EN, DE, FR, ES and yes, even Finnish)
  • ...

If you are an Alliance faction member, we offer cooperation and equality between all Alliance members:
  • To defend against Federation/Empire
  • To know our neighbourhood in game
  • To make some diplomacy between all Alliance factions
  • Free from Playergroup politics

If you are an Alliance freelancer/supporter, we offer a place to meet other Alliance players
  • To find someone to play with
  • To make friends
  • to make Roleplay

If you are new in this game, we offer a place to learn the game
  • How to BGS (sub-factions, influence and missions)
  • How to powerplay (to work for Edmund Mahon)
  • The lore of the Alliance and the associated RP
  • How to PVP, combat
  • How to explore the galaxy
  • How to trade make money in the game
  • To gain and discuss informations about the game we love

None of the discords are official anything. Unless they've been created by FDev specifically for the use by Mahon pledges or Alliance pilots, there is no such thing as an official Mahon or Alliance Discord server.

If people think they are running an official Mahon or Alliance Discord server, they are quite frankly suffering from an overinflated ego and are in dire need of having it deflated.

Can Moderators edit the name of post on Reddit and Forum (Clear: Offical ) since I cant.
