I'm no longer getting video embeds on this forum and am guessing that it's the restrictive cookie settings I may have chosen. Any pointer from anyone on the best most secure way to fix this?

You need to select marketing cookies when you log into the site. 
Quit the browser and clear cache if necessary then select marketing cookies when you are prompted what cookies you want to allow.

The most secure way is to not allow marketing cookies, it's the marketing cookies they want you to accept, I can't see any way to accept marketing cookies and still be secure, most people now include youtube links for their vidoes so it's not that huge problem these days like it was when they first implemented it. There's no reason for it except to compel people to take the marketing cookies.
Yeah, shame on Frontier! They need to fix this forum in a way that doesn't require us to compromise our security. It's not like it's their content anyway!
