Enclosure Building Fails

I just found out after building a Outdoor-Enclosure that my Pyramid inspired Hippo-House needs something that prevents the Hippos from walking on it.

I would like to know if other People in the Forum also had some funny or interesting Building-Fails

You can edit the Fence to have something on top that makes it impossible for Animals to climb over it

Exactly. And just to elaborate, when editing the fence select all of the segments that you want to make "un-climbable". Look down in the properties box in the lower right. One of the tabs (I belive it's a gear icon) has little buttons to put barriers on top that prevent climbing. You'll be able to visually see the barrier change when you click the buttons. Be sure to pick the button that puts the feature on the inside. One of the earlier career scenarios teaches this better than I just did!

Me, when I was building the barrier before introducing animals: "OK, I just need to remember to climb-proof this..."

At least, the "animals are running through barriers" bug can be funny.

Interesting, I've actually discovered my snow leopards kept escaping on the same place in the wall.
Turned out to be a fence I made of logs, that was just outside and close to the edge of the barrier. As the log had a hitbox, the snow leopard was able to jump the fence, because the log made him being able to step on a (invisible) ledge on the inside and jump the fence.

So moved the fence further from the habitat wall and the problem was fixed.
I think because the power facility has a slightly larger hitbox it interferes with the barrier, and that way the animal is able to cross the barrier.

Having objects to close to the barrier on the outside of the fence makes this possible. Definitely a bug.

It seems the fence is to low for that turtle. In the wild a turtle would never do that, but PZ's animals are hypnotically drawn to escapable fences.
