Newcomer / Intro Encoded Materials

Am I right in thinking that encoded materials are not really used that much especially the G5 ones?

I have been using Inara to check which ones to trade for from the Jameson crash site. Even the two encoded materials that you end up with the most of by far are used in wake scanners interdictors and kill warrant scanners and manifest scanners.

Any sensible suggestions about what to trade for?

At least it means I dont have to do several runs from the crash site to the trader and back?

Just keep them unless you max out research on Innara what you want in crafting lists and only then swop if needed

No - just look at MEF

DWE are just for FSD mod

The other G5 encoded have their uses but MEF and DWE are always welcome.
