Gamma turning you green is a referance to pop culture. Hulk turned green because of Gamma radiation.

The message said two belts, three rings. This system has two belts plus three planets with rings. It's a perfect match.

Ah, thank you for that Mr. Ant never occurred to me it was a pop culture reference - okay, I am now leaning more on the side that it is the right system. 3 planets with rings is also a good one.
