Это не стыд, это Ранний доступ со всеми плюсами и минусами.
Shame indeed. It's just one of those really promising kickstarter projects that didn't seem to hit the right balance of being early access and meaningful in the content. At least that was the main reason I didn't go for it. Just not enough there to plump for it.
Not yet but I watched a bit of a let's play before release. If that's what it was. Had some soviet, duct-tapey look which i found kinda interesting. I haven't played Subnautica but a fair bit of this type of game. The space-themed ones I always found more interesting.Quite not as hardcore and hardscifi (to say the least) but has someone tried Breathedge?
Looks lika a nonsensely humorous take on space survival, quite similar to Subnautica...
Ye, having the tools to manage your shard is pretty essential. PvP is fine when it's just fair combat or RP. I do a similar thing in Barotrauma. Still even not actually wanting to grief I managed to annoy ppl just by being curious. (tried out what can be done with wiring and reconnected stuff wrong by acvident)^ As i have mentioned, i have played in private server with friends, no PvP problem there.
And its not even expensive, server rent for 4-6 people is just under 10 euros or so, so thats just few euros per head per month, which i pay gladly to get rid of gankers and stuff.
I played on a private discord server...which was free and also had no PvP by a gentleman's agreement by those who used it. Similar to Mobius in a way. Hellion was tough enough without having some troll group kill you and nick all yer gear.^ As i have mentioned, i have played in private server with friends, no PvP problem there.

Eliptical orbits used to be the thing...with some other fancy astronomical words thrown in to describe it. I flew da ships...some mates vastly more intelligent than me used to work out the orbits and use all the big wordsAgree. Although you have the option to relocate your base anywhere you want reduces the possibility of finding your base. If you move Haven for example to the very outer edge of Bethyr, chance is that no one will ever find it.
But then again, they buffed the scanning mechanics in some of the latest updates and now it seems that that thing can pin point things from very, VERY far, giving a ballpark estimate location of something.
And, you can always live around at some other moon of Hellion when you get better nanite cores and suits.
Have you tried KSP? It is - among other things - THE tool that made me understand basic principles of orbits, transfers and manouvers in space.Eliptical orbits used to be the thing...with some other fancy astronomical words thrown in to describe it. Ye, If you don't know what retrograde and prograde does and when to burn, you'll have a bad time.I second that, after playing the KSP I was able to learn how to go to the Moon and back in the Orbiter sim much easier.
