I'm wondering if the engineer boost will end on tick or go for the next day. I hope in goes through the 7th or better yet is extended.

I have to say I'm no sure how much of a boost it is? Was engineering some modules the other day both remotely and at the engineers (during the current engi boost) and it took over 10 G5 rolls to max out a few of them. A few were 6-8 G5 rolls but 10+ doesn't seem like much of a material discount to me.

I did a ton of engineering during it and I didn't notice a difference. If it's working, the bonus is small.
5 to 7 rolls instead of 6 to 9 for 100% G5. Somewhat working but really nothing to write home about.
What a joke. Not even for holiday season players are worthy of a bit of respite from grindistan.
I think the boost was more of a placebo effect. I didn't notice anything different in G5 upgrades. The possible problem as I see it is that there is still a bit of randomness in the number of rolls for G5 (and probably G3 & G4) upgrades. 1 module might take 6 rolls to fully upgrade G5 and the next might be 8 rolls and the next 7 rolls and so on and so on.
I think the number of rolls is possibly implemented in a way to eat through your mats as quickly as possible.
