Engineers Engineering Grade 5 FSD can't slide to the left optimized mass? Image attached

You can put it in any ship that can take the module. Asp and AspX usually refer to the same ship. X - explorer. There is also the Asp Scout which has a class 4 FSD.

just curious, can this FSD I just decked out be swapped back and forth in like ....an asp or aspx? )not sure what the diff is with an aspx anyway but...can I do this easily?

No FSD roll can compensate for an undersized FSD, so you'd only want to use it in other ships with a class 6 FSD slot. Which means the T9 and Corvette.

Ok wait, I thought blue was ALWAYS good and we always want blue, even for optimized mass. You are telling me that now I want to go into the red to the RIGHT for optimized?

I thought someone above told me that I am already about maxed out since there is hardly any room on the blue side (the GOOD side)?

PLease someone specifically answer these questions.

What a pain in the lol

I believe this would be a lot easier for you if you would reset your HUD colours to default....

Any 50+ percent optimized mass on the fabled FSD 5 roll is a keeper. Buy another drive, and see if you can top it. :)

Do *not* throw it away. Store it. Only use it on a A class, in the max slot. (A Cobra 3 is a 4A FSD).

There *are* limits, even with Felicity's Casino Of Wonders. Don't get greedy, and throw away all of your chips, once you have a reasonable compromise. You are going to lose in all the other major categories (unless you get a comp like greater fuel use).

Your HUD is not making me feel nauseous. Really.

Ditto

Anything over 50% is a keeper. The highest I've seen reported is 57

I have several on the 50 - 55 range and one 5A that has 56% - that's my best out of several hundred rolls.

Same experience.

It helps if you were once based at Nellis AFB, NV, and are an experienced gambler. :)
