Horizons Engineering: Is more always better?

I like the G1 low emissions PP. Just make sure you get a good secondary effect that boosts the power output, but is much cooler. The only downside is a bit of extra mass.

I try to always take a clean stock module when i go for a higher grade, get the best looking mod I can for the mats at hand.
Reuse. Dock all ships at the same port then set up a new ship with what you have on hand. There is only the increased range FSD that needs to be class five. The rest is a balancing act and down to a lucky roll. The nerf bat is coming with shields and fragments. Or frontier will finally stop cannons from doing shield damage. Multi and fragment. Personally I think with engineering, beams, bursts and pulses are a total waste of time. I've found engineering burst to G5 lowers it's DPS in most cases. Be careful with G5. You do not get what is written on the front of the box. Take fragments. You get more DPS, but the reload time increases, making it a lie. That's why G3 are better in some cases.
I've also found G3 thrusters use less distributor draw, which means you can boost more often. Your top speed goes down, but you get a higher average and faster boosts mean faster turns more often. Ina vulture this is vital as it's a boost ship.
