so, counted 69t of 400 for unknown reason.

Only mined minerals count, but not the bought ones?

nope, that's not the case here. 212 of those 400t have been transferred from my FCs storage (having been mined by me before), while 188t have been bought from a friends FC.

so, either i have mined "none" of the above, or 212, but 69 just is weird.

it also would be a new one for FDEV to track commodity history.

Were all those mined by you in the ship you delivered them in?

Edit: Note to self - read the whole thread before replying! Storing on the FC may well clear the "mined by me" tag by the looks of things

Great news!

After the hefty console delay I was hoping to find an expedition to pass away the next few months.

I was hesitant however, due to the fact I could possibly miss out on a unique dbl engineered goody by been too far away to participate.

This CG certainly suggests that they'll all eventually become available via other methods which frees me up nicely.

Well done FDev, you were due a good idea!

From the initial description of the goal - it looks like the double engineered module will be purchasable from tech brokers for the list of resources, the incentive to reach higher tiers will be to make the cost of each engineered module cheaper. So you'll need to pay each time for each module, which is the same as having to 'spend' resources to engineer purchased modules...

Yep hand in is still iffy so if you have a FC load that up for today...
Till Kietrax get back on and if your meat to lose around 20% of what you hand in...

That'd be unusual for a Tech Broker recipe, but possible I guess.

So far, so good thanks - so don't mess it up! :p

Are you sure I can't complain about the prices for mined goods? There must be an enormous oversight if they can be sold for more elsewhere, or that they aren't as good as the old void opal prices were before neeerrrrrrrfffffff times?!

(Cards on the table - I haven't looked, but I predict this complaint at some point...)

Station is not in the correct state to generate High mining prices on these so only gets a default CG price bump...
Investment sucks for cheap mining items needs boom... investment has lowered the price...

well, compared what you can get for osmium and samarium today, Awyra firble offers <20% of todays osmiums maximum price, <50% of todays samariums maximum price, <66% of todays maximum brommelite price, but 100% of todays maximum Lithium Hydroxide price.

so, if you want to minimize your perceived loss on zero-purchased commodities while taking part at the CG, just deliver lithium hydroxide!

Greetings commanders,

Today we launched the first mining community goal since the release of Fleet Carriers and we’re happy to see you are as excited to take part as we are! We’ve noticed some confusion regarding the mechanics of the goal which we would like to address so you can get right back to earning that fantastic reward!

Purchasing materials from Fleet Carriers
The latest Community Goal is a mining community goal, which means your materials need to be mined in order to count. If you purchase these materials from a Fleet Carrier then it will not contribute.

Tech Broker reward
The reward for this week's goal works differently to how you may expect. Rather than unlocking the item in outfitting, you directly purchase the module with the mined resources. You can get two by obtaining double the resources.

We hope this helps you in completing the goal and earning your unique missile rack!

probably better not to use a FC this time (still wonder how my 400t became 69 t)!

interesting to find out how FDEV implemented that.
