This was produced as a pilot episode to test the water, both in terms of your reception and the feasibilities of producing the series - so I can assure you that work is definitely now happening on the rest of the series

Nice work, Chris, Allen and the crew. Quite enjoyable, but I probably colud have done with a bit more emotion in the voices.

Will be interesting to see how/if the protagonist evolve during the course of the story

WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT???? I cried when Thane said 'Stick it up...'

no I do have to disagree with you a bit, the voice acting was as professional as any play on Radio Scotland. I found the voice acting subtle smf flowing and not stale and awkward as I'd expected from an amateur production so I was very surprised at the quality of the audio, soundtrack and performance..

Also as they make more emotional situations I'm certain they will embrace it and break our hearts, and our tear ducts, with further improvements as they settle into their performances... though I am not sure what the health inspector will have to say about transporting minors in your cargo hold Mr Thane!! thats at least a 900 credit fine!!.

Really enjoyed this -- the story was good, the production great. Sound effects, music and ambient chatter built a very good atmosphere. Acting voices were wonderful, although I'd be happy to hear the protagonist read with a touch more conviction... but I guess he's intended to be a little subdued and weary in tone. The young girl was a real standout.

Brought back great memories of Earthsearch and the BBC adapations (heard Clarke's A Fall of Moondust years ago) I used to listen to way back when.

Colour me impressed. If you continue at this level of quality I suspect Frontier might come looking to sell you a license

You really brought the game to life. Can't wait for the next part!

There had better be a way to pipe these brilliant episodes into the ship once the heavens open up for us all. I don't want to have some silly app running in the background for this great stuff. [I can see a lot of reruns being played on my ship.] Seriously though, you guys just knocked the ball out of the park with that first episode. Once again, great stuff!

But just one criticism coming from a licenced radio operator.

Radio comms uses "Over" to mean you expect a reply

When you finish speaking, you use your callsign and say "OUT"

"OVER AND OUT" is a term incorrectly used in Films for years. So in effect your saying your expecting a reply but you have finished using comms.

Your station name or if you like call sign is normally repeated three times and the station you are calling three times, If your using this in a busy harbour as I do at work you need the ship your calling to be clear as to who your calling as there are a lot people out there listening in on an open frequency like channel 16.

Good writing, LOLing at the "unusual to run home" line. Just the right amount of exposition.

Fine acting by all, especially the police lady and May.

Very effective cliffhanger ending.

Surprisingly good production values helping to bring the whole thing to life. Very professional, better than many audio plays I've heard on national radio. Every scene works.

In short, a triumph. The 20 minutes whooshed past.

I'd like to go on record and say that my input on the radio drama was minimal. That's probably why it sounded so professional.
