Essential Polar animal wishlist

Recently I made DLC wishlists, but I returned with the continent/biome-based ones!

This wishlist based on a biome that is less represented in the Planet Zoo and pretty frosty. This is none other than the Polar biome!

We have Arctic pack, which are one of the first DLCs of the game, but only contains animals from the North Pole. If the Frontier will make a secound DLC based on this biome, it should contain a mixture of Arctic and Antarctic animals.

RULES:
  1. All users may submit maximum 20 species, but could be less, if you want.
  2. Mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes and invertebrates are allowed.
  3. Terrestrial, semi-aquatic and fully aquatic animals are allowed.
  4. The species could be habitat or exhibit/WE animals.
  5. The animals should be native on Polar ice or Polar tundra biomes.
  6. Only living animals, extinct ones are not OK!

  12. Rock hopper penguin
  13. Yak

I can't really consider any essential at this point, but if I were to make a short list:

1. Muskox
2. Walrus
3. Arctic Hare
4. Harp Seal
5. Sea Otter

Unfortunately that's all I really have for this biome. Including one of its more iconic animals in the Eurasian pack has resulted in me not really minding if we don't get anything specifically geared for a Tundra theme. Though I think we'll get up with the Muskox in some other way, even if it's a "finale/wrap up" type of pack.

Yeah no that many important Tundra animals left

1. Musk ox
2. Walrus
3. Arctic hare
4. Rockhopper penguin
5. Snowy owl
7. Gentoo penguin

Yes lots of seals and a lot of penguins :D MORE! MORE! MORE!

Agree with the general consensus on not many essential polar tundra animals. Alpine tundra does have a few things that would benefit the game though!

The list is firstly updated! :)

Almost nobody votes to this animal, but I think the Emperor penguin would be a great addition for the game, since this is a very iconic species, the most well-know animal from the Antarctica, the Zoo Tycoon/Zoo Tycoon 2 nostalgia, to have more birds in the game and the chicks are very cute.

I know, the Emperor penguin are very rare in captivity, but also the Saiga, the Platypus and the Proboscis monkey, too. (Despite these latter three animals are in-game)

Is not only rare in captivity but is also very similar to the king penguin. To me it will be wasting a slot in a DLC that other animal could get, even other species of penguin that are more unique and diferent from what we already have like rockhopper or gentoo.

Gonna try and stick to animals that are as close to actual polar as I can...

1. Musk Ox

3. Snowy Owl
4. Stoat
5. Barnacle Goose
