2. Greater rhea
3. Secretary bird
4. Greater kudu
5. Grey crowned crane

I tried to keep my list to just tropical savannah species regardless of what others were posting (hence no Hamadryas baboons or whatever) but somehow forgot that maras don't extend as far north as rheas lol. Given the wishlist hasn't been updated yet I've cheekily swapped them out with peccaries.

The list is updated again! :)

I don't want to affect other user's wishlists, but I think it would be nice to get more votes for the Sloth bear and the Indian cobra, since we haven't got a new bear since the Southeast Asia animal pack, there is no cobra as exhibit animal and it would be nice to expand the Indian roster with in game.

Sorry, but most of the last 5 animals on your list are not specifically savanna species!
The South American coati, Blue and yellow macaw and the Toco toucan would be more suited to a rainforest animal wishlist.

Those three are all still found in savannahs though, in fact the toco toucan is not found in rainforest at all and prefers semi-open habitats, being particularly common in the Cerrado.

Not so sure coatis love in savannahs. At least South american coatis. Macaws and toucans do though. Well, forested grasslands in any case.

Yes, they can be found in savannahs, but not primary savanna animals. Honestly, I can't image the South American coati in the Savanna DLC.

The rule 5 it says:
"All animals should be mostly native on tropical savannas or similar biomes and be from all continents."

They’re probably not as abundant in savannahs as they are in rainforests, but from what I understand they do occur throughout the Cerrado, which is largely tropical savannah.

If only animals that primarily occur in tropical savannahs can be included, then there’s a bunch of other species already on the metawishlist that should be excluded. Honestly I think any species that lives in the savannah should be included as whether or not an animal qualifies as as a primarily savannah-dwelling species will be up to interpretation in a lot of cases. Many would have said that the emu, caracal and striped hyena are “not primarily savannah animals”, and yet we still got them in the Grasslands Animal Pack. But it’s your metawishlist, not mine.

In any case, the toco toucan definitely qualifies at least.
