Eurasia Animal Pack, Retrospective

I agree about the Null Barrier Option but 16 Square Metres is about the size of a small garden so I think it is fine for a small species of tortoise like Hermann's, Egyptian or Pancake. I'd say Greek is probably the limit. I've seen such tortoises in much smaller terrariums in zoos. Realistically the species is too small to be Habitat in the game. Its babies would be impossible to pull off with the way habitats work. Look how small they are compared to Baby Aldabra and Galapagos Giant Tortoises and Fruit! By the way, yes Hermann's Tortoises are small, but either the ones in the game are a bit too small or the fruit too big.

As for the colour, you are right, they tend to get duller with age like many reptiles but it also depends on Regional/Individual Variation and Dust. Here's a selection of examples from various ages showing dull and vibrant colours.

Two more. Actually these two's pattern resembles the in-game model a lot. Makes sense since the 1st one is from Wikipedia. Had to post separately, since the forum doesn't allow more than 10 pictures per message. I think they really did a great job with the Hermann's Tortoise, it is almost picture perfect. My only criticism would be they always keep their feet at a certain angle in the game, which they only do so in real life when pushing against the ground. I guess this was due to the Giant Tortoise rig.

Don't ask me how I placed these tortoises in the fruit box or habitat! 😅 After a certain group size limit the game spawns them in the middle of the map. It is a bug.

Yeah no, the exhibit size is perfectly fine for them.
What i meant is that they are pretty active animals, so having them sit in one place isnt that great. And these guys argueably suffer the most from it out of all the exhibit animals.
Really really hope that we can get a exhibit null option soon so we can build outdoor habitats for them

I was imagining Greek and Hermann's Tortoises to be more suitable for Walkthrough Exhibits. Honestly I was expecting them to be WE before the reveal. That way the null option would have been guaranteed, plus their Animation Loops would have been more diverse that way, making them look more active in an open habitat with null WE.

Editing to add that the smaller Egyptian and Pancake Tortoises are probably better off as Exhibit, for Humidity/Temperature restrictions, as well as Size and Conservation Status.
