Europe DLC bet

As most of us have listened to the fairy tale in the stream I would like to Start this Thread because I am interested in your bets for the animals we will get soon.

As the other Threads are discussed very wildely I would like to have a thread in which you only put your expected animals without further discussion (this can be done within the other threads).

So I will start:
1. Iberian Lynx
2. Alpine Ibex
3. European Badger
4. European Mink
5. Fire Salamander

1. Lynx
2. Ibex
3. Otter (I have never thought I would say it but this time I would prefer red fox but 3 foxes in a row are not likely)
4. Badger
Salamander

but I would be happiest with:
1. Lynx
2. Ibex
3. Wolverine
4. Red deer

line up that is cohesive with the meta wishlist 🤷🏽

Animal "Perched" on a mossy tree trunk. Dark Slender Body with Large Expressive eyes.

Creature with Soft Brown Fur drinking from river

Small Sturdy Animal

Booming voice that knows the mountains better than any creature. This animal has hooves.

Finally our main character is quite obviously from the image a Lynx.

With all of this in mind my predictions are
  • Eurasian Lynx
  • Wild Boar
  • European Badger
  • Alpine Ibex
  • Eurasian Eagle Owl

There are 5 animals in this story and we know it's most likely going to be a scenery pack. I have no clue why everyone is saying fire salamander when there is no indication it will be included. I've seen many people say a possum, marten or mink is the slender animal with large Expressive eyes yet all of those animals mentioned have been characterized as having small beady eyes. They also said the animal was "perched" in the tree. With no other animals fitting a description of an exhibit animal we are left with 3 options.
1. We get our first bird
2. The description was poor and its one of the 3 animals mentioned and we get a 5th Habitat animal
3. We get our first exhibit mammal

The only animal that I think can really be argued here is the animal with Soft Brown Fur. The others seem to all be very clear.

My condolences to the Red Deer, the Red Fox and the Wild Boar, i hope you'll find space in the next packs.

Eurasian lynx (matches the silhouette better)
European badger
European mink (really wish this was a deer but "soft" is not the adjective I'd prioritize for a deer)
Alpine ibex
Fire salamander (I think maybe some people are reading too much into it "perching")

Boar fur isn't one of the softest ones. I don't think we're getting flying birds in DLC without getting flying in free update first, same as diving. And Salamander fits perfectly with description and with exhibit animal slot

1. Lynx of some variety - nearly 100% probability
2. Ibex of some variety - nearly 100% probability
3. European Badger - due to burrowing, likely, but they could throw us off by including something else. 90% probability (before the borrowing, I would have guessed this would've been the one to not be included, but it seems to fit very well)
4. Wild card - Boar, Red Deer, Otter, Wolverine, Pine Martin, Mink, possibly even a rabbit of some sort. I hope for the Wolverine but it could be anything, and half of these would be a second mustelid. Otter/Wolverine slightly higher than the rest.
5. Salamander - sure, makes sense, we'll go with nearly 100% probability.

Ouch... so what your saying is the lineup seems to be most likely
  • Eurasian Lynx
  • Fire Salamander
  • European Mink
  • European Badger
  • Alpine Ibex

😔 seems to be maybe our weakest DLC lineup

Yeah, I would say except mink others are cemented. But to each their own. This one is after NA my favorite pack. But I love northern animals, I can see how some people might not like it

The Lynx would have to be downright one of the best animals in the game for me to buy this pack. Unless the building pieces and Foliage are stellar this seems very lackluster. A Badger and Mink aren't exactly animals I think of when going to the zoo

For me the most important is the lynx (cat lover!) and then the mink and badger or something similar, also otter. Hooved animals are not that important to me in this pack.

And from the look of the meta list, you're not alone about minks and marmots and such stuff... unless I missed something, these guys don't even make the top 100. I know they like to throw in wildcard options, but is it really a good idea to omit so many higher demand options for that?
