And is that per module or a one-time unlock? I guess per module?

I think I have all my Titan Drive bits in for a CG, hope I can get some more.

I found three today in around 40 minutes. I was circling between 10-15km on advice I’d read. Could well be pure luck.
I spent two or three hours yesterday without finding any, but I was weaving all around and through the field casually picking up any and all mats and salvage that popped up and not focusing on keeping my distance.

The new FSDs are on EDSY yet. Press ctrl+f5

As much as I love/prefer the UI at Coriolis, this has taken me to EDSY more and more often. The new FSDs aren't on EDSY yet, of course.
You can kind of manually insert the values in Coriolis, but that requires you to have the game open or the values noted down beforehand.

Do you need to do the "jump in jump out" dance to get them to appear or can you just cruise around the remains looking?
I was just orbiting around the periphery mostly, made a few runs through the middle but all three Titan Drives appeared when I was on the outskirts between 10-15km. The ‘good zone,’ if there is one, could extend farther than that for all I know. No jumping in and out either, it was all the same instance but I did do it in solo so that I wasn’t going to lose out to anyone else.

It may well have been pure luck and when I go back for more I’ll find the same as you. Maybe the RNG Gods felt sorry for me as I dumped/sold a load of Titan Drives some time ago as I stupidly thought they were most likely never going to be of use for anything. How wrong was I?!

I did not expect this much difference.
Regular fully engineered for range SCO FSD. Size 5A:

New double engineered not yet mass managed.

Final with mass manager.

The only downside I saw with these was that, just like the non-SCO pre-engineered FSDs, these generate more heat/second when used. For most ships, this shouldn't matter one whit. However, I had to remove my non-SCO pre-engineered FSD from my ASP Explorer because it made it overheat at times (dangerously so)... especially when jumping to another system while near a planet.

Probably a silly question, but is worth upgrading in my exploration Mandalay? I'm averaging 62 LY per jump. I ask because I'm a couple thousand LY from the bubble.
Here's my boat's build.

Also, yeah ... need the things for the rest of my fleet currently docked in my carrier up at Beagle Point.

Crazy. Frontier created a 1:1 galaxy that felt immense in its scale 10 years ago, now sooner or later someone will reach Sag-A* in 3 hours, and Beagle in 9. That's progress I suppose 😁
I have been asking for inflation in the economy of the ED universe, didn't expect to have it implemented for jump range.

IMHO not necessary to upgrade immediately, although it is kind of a really good improvement and makes me giggle every time I see the possible range.
As long as you aren't planning to jump into areas which can only reached with max range, wait until you're back in the bubble to buy them.

Worth adding? Absolutely! Worth crossing the galaxy for right away? In your position, I would wait until next time I came back anyway. Collecting titan drive components by itself is a chore, without taking into consideration the other materials needed to get the drive from a tech broker. Incidentally, besides the 7ly you can get from upgrading the FSD and adding mass manager, you could get another 20LY by undersizing some core components and prioritizing light weight over combat utility (not much an explorer will do in combat anyway, and no call for it in the black). Admittedly, I don't know what you have unlocked for engineering. Food for thought (this build utilizes the CG FSD with mass manager).
