Exact number of Kills

Hi guys,
I wonder if there is a way to know the EXACT number of kills: we all know that the number of bounties claimed is not equal to number of kills, since you can get more bounties from a single kill. +
Is there a log file that keep trace of kills? And if yes, what's the path?
For the DEV...please insert in the next developement a kills number in the stats panel, or (better) a rank progress bar!

Not a direct answer to the question however rank up is not purely by number of killes its also based on type of opponent and rank, so killing more powerful ships is better than killing lots of sideys.
